The Chief of Staff acts as a force multiplier for the CEO, ensuring that priorities are executed effectively across the company. They provide strategic and operational support, streamline decision-making, and ensure alignment between the CEO and leadership team.


What Success Will Look Like: 

Strategic Support 

  • Partner with, and report to, the CEO on company vision, strategy, and key initiatives.
  • Drive alignment across the executive team on strategic priorities.
  • Work across teams to conduct research and prepare analysis to support high-stakes decisions.
  • Anticipate issues, surface risks, and provide data-driven recommendations.

Operational Excellence

  • Manage the CEO’s calendar, time and priorities, ensuring focus on the most impactful areas.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives, ensuring execution against goals.
  • Design and optimize company operating cadences (e.g., leadership meetings, OKRs, board prep).
  • Track and report progress on strategic initiatives to the CEO.

Communication & Alignment

  • Serve as a trusted liaison between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Draft communications, presentations, and reports for leadership, board, investors, and employees.
  • Ensure clear, consistent messaging of the CEO’s priorities across the company.

Leadership Leverage

  • Act as a sounding board for the CEO, providing candid feedback and alternative perspectives.
  • Handle confidential matters with discretion.
  • Step in as a proxy for the CEO in meetings when needed.
  • Coach and support senior leaders on delivering outcomes aligned with CEO priorities.

Who You Are & What You've Done: 

  • Experience in management consulting, strategy, investment banking, or operations at a high-growth tech company.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and executive presence.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • High EQ, discretion, and ability to influence without formal authority.

*The role will be based in our Foster City office and in-office environment. 

The expected salary range for this full-time position is $150,000 - $200,000 + equity + benefits. The actual level and compensation are determined by several factors, such as your qualifications, professional background, and relevant experience.
