Job OverviewWe are seeking a proactive, highly organized, and dependable Executive Assistant & People Operations Partner to support our CEO while also helping manage and scale core human resources and employee lifecycle functions.
This is a highly trusted, in-person role that requires flexibility, professionalism, discretion, and strong judgment. You’ll handle traditional Executive Assistant responsibilities while also supporting onboarding, internal operations, and employee experience initiatives in a fast-moving, high-growth startup environment.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, anticipates needs before they arise, and enjoys wearing multiple hats across executive support and people operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage complex and dynamic calendars across time zones
Coordinate meetings, calls, travel, events, and logistics, often with little notice
Serve as a key point of contact between executives and internal/external stakeholders
Handle highly confidential information with discretion and professionalism
Assist with follow-ups, reminders, and action tracking to keep priorities moving
Provide support outside traditional work hours as needed (evenings/weekends)
Proactively identify opportunities to streamline executive workflows
Support personal tasks and errands as needed to optimize executive time
Support the full employee lifecycle including onboarding, engagement, performance processes, and offboarding
Own onboarding and experiences to ensure new hires are set up for success from day one
Partner with leadership to maintain employee records, documentation, and internal processes
Assist with benefits administration, HR systems, and people operations coordination
Support internal communications, policies, and employee resources
Help foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing company culture
Coordinate team events, onsite logistics, and employee engagement initiatives
Support in-office operations and team logistics in the Santa Monica office
Assist with planning company offsites, retreats, and internal events
Act as a connective hub between leadership, employees, and external partners
3+ years of Executive Assistant experience, with at least 2 years in a startup or fast-paced environment
Experience supporting senior leadership with high levels of trust and autonomy
Strong organizational and calendar management skills
Exceptional judgment, discretion, and attention to detail
Calm, resourceful, and solution-oriented under pressure
Highly adaptable with strong intuition for shifting priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Willingness to work a non-traditional schedule when needed
Experience or strong interest in HR, People Operations, or employee experience
Office management or onsite operations experience is a plus
Compensation: $70,000 - $125,000
