This is a highly trusted, in-person role that requires flexibility, professionalism, discretion, and strong judgment. You’ll handle traditional Executive Assistant responsibilities while also supporting onboarding, internal operations, and employee experience initiatives in a fast-moving, high-growth startup environment.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, anticipates needs before they arise, and enjoys wearing multiple hats across executive support and people operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage complex and dynamic calendars across time zones

  • Coordinate meetings, calls, travel, events, and logistics, often with little notice

  • Serve as a key point of contact between executives and internal/external stakeholders

  • Handle highly confidential information with discretion and professionalism

  • Assist with follow-ups, reminders, and action tracking to keep priorities moving

  • Provide support outside traditional work hours as needed (evenings/weekends)

  • Proactively identify opportunities to streamline executive workflows

  • Support personal tasks and errands as needed to optimize executive time

  • Support the full employee lifecycle including onboarding, engagement, performance processes, and offboarding

  • Own onboarding and experiences to ensure new hires are set up for success from day one

  • Partner with leadership to maintain employee records, documentation, and internal processes

  • Assist with benefits administration, HR systems, and people operations coordination

  • Support internal communications, policies, and employee resources

  • Help foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing company culture

  • Coordinate team events, onsite logistics, and employee engagement initiatives

  • Support in-office operations and team logistics in the Santa Monica office

  • Assist with planning company offsites, retreats, and internal events

  • Act as a connective hub between leadership, employees, and external partners

Professional Experience & Qualifications
  • 3+ years of Executive Assistant experience, with at least 2 years in a startup or fast-paced environment

  • Experience supporting senior leadership with high levels of trust and autonomy

  • Strong organizational and calendar management skills

  • Exceptional judgment, discretion, and attention to detail

  • Calm, resourceful, and solution-oriented under pressure

  • Highly adaptable with strong intuition for shifting priorities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Willingness to work a non-traditional schedule when needed

  • Experience or strong interest in HR, People Operations, or employee experience

  • Office management or onsite operations experience is a plus

What we offer
  • Compensation: $70,000 - $125,000

  • Unlimited PTO

  • Competitive equity package

  • Employer Covered Medical Benefits

  • Hybrid in Los Angeles, CA (Santa Monica area)

  • Two in-person team retreats a year
