About this role:
Reporting to the Head of the In-House Agency, you'll set the creative vision for AI-native brand storytelling and dynamic content systems and help us transform into a modern creative operating model. You'll lead a 35-person multidisciplinary team (10 direct reports) across creative, experience design, and production to build new content forms, campaign architectures, and brand behaviors powered by agentic AI. You'll oversee multi-channel content ecosystems, personalized journeys, and modular components designed for assembly and execution by autonomous agents. You know how to translate a creative idea into personalized journeys and content systems, connect craft to outcomes, and treat AI as a creative medium. This role follows a hybrid work schedule and can sit in Minneapolis, MN or San Francisco, CA. The Wells Fargo job profile is Marketing Director.
In this role, you will:
  • Creative & Strategic Leadership: Develop a creative approach of translating the use of AI capabilities (autonomous execution, multi-agent orchestration, dynamic personalization) into clear creative strategies and testable concepts
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration: Mentor art, copy, design, CX, and content strategy teams; roll out and coach creative teams on new ways of working; partner with Agency and Client Leadership; lead pitches and client presentations
  • Brand & Experience Stewardship: Uphold craft, brand safety, and ethical AI standards; advise on opportunities and risks across agents, personalization, and automation
  • Multi-Channel Content Creation: Oversee creative for social, digital, web, CRM, experiential, and video; deliver channel-specific work within a cohesive system; develop AI-aware strategies that adapt tone, format, and structure
  • Personalization & Content Systems: Design scalable personalization (variable messaging, adaptive narratives, context-aware behavior); build modular libraries for autonomous assembly
  • AI-Forward Content Innovation: Partner with Marketing to translate data from AI agents to develop new creative strategies and assets to ensure effective customer experiences

Required Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of Marketing, Digital Marketing, Digital Platforms, or Social Media experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 4+ years of management or leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience leading flagship accounts at top creative or digital agencies and translating that craft to in-house personalization at scale
  • Experience setting a creative vision and delivering integrated campaigns that use agentic AI
  • Experience designing modular content systems and workflows for reuse, quality, and speed
  • Experience establishing AI guardrails and brand voice models to keep outputs on-brand and compliant
  • Experience overseeing multi-channel programs (web, CRM, social, experiential, broadcast)
  • Experience leading geographically dispersed teams across creative, experience design, and production

  • 333 Market Street - San Francisco, CA ($191,000 - $305,000)
Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
$175,000.00 - $305,000.00
