Develop Health is on a mission to use AI to radically accelerate access to life-saving medications. By automating complex, manual healthcare processes—like benefit verification and prior authorization— we've been growing rapidly and over the past couple of years have helped over 3.6 million patients!

We’re partnering with some of the largest pharmacy benefit managers and payers in the nation, revolutionizing how healthcare interactions occur by eliminating human delays and inefficiencies. Our small, elite team of founders and engineers have previously launched and exited successful healthcare startups including Rupa Health and Canvas Medical. We are now scaling rapidly following a major funding round.

The Role

Our executives spend their days building the product and closing deals with the biggest names in healthcare and life sciences. You'll keep everything around them running smoothly, while also ensuring our offices are productive, collaborative places to work that celebrate our team.

65% of your time goes to supporting our CEO, CTO and Chief Commercial Officer: their calendars, travel, meetings and relationships, plus the culture work that keeps our team connected. The other 35% goes to employee engagement and running our core office in San Francisco and satellite office in Menlo Park. You'll report to our Senior Manager, Strategy & Finance.

You’ll be the first full-time partner to our leaders, able to unlock a new level of focus and support. You’ll help us optimize our Menlo office, including transitioning it to a smaller satellite space in mid-2027, while helping us open and optimize our new, San Francisco office in January 2027.

The role is a match for someone who solves problems creatively, keeps finding better ways to do things, and has a gift for hospitality. As the company scales, special projects and increased responsibilities are likely. This is a great entry point into the company, and will give you visibility into the full business.

What You’ll Do

Support our C-Suite

  • Own their calendars. Expect lots of external meetings, tricky scheduling and plans that change daily.

  • Work with our Sr. Manager of Strategy and Finance to build agendas for team and leadership meetings, help run them, and capture notes and action items.

  • Plan on-site and off-site meetings, dinners and team events.

  • Book complex travel for our executives, arrange travel and accommodation for visitors coming to Develop Health, and prepare expense reports.

  • Be the face and voice of Develop Health as you reach out on behalf of our team, and help us build great relationships with senior leaders at our partners and customers.

Build our culture

  • Company-Wide: Nurture our fast-paced, collaborative, and active culture with team gatherings, lunches, and celebrations.

  • For Individuals: Partner with our People and Talent team to bring the magic to onboarding, work anniversaries, birthdays, and special milestones.

Run our offices

  • Set up both offices to be productive, collaborative workspaces that folks are excited to come into each week: choose and manage vendors, organize the spaces, and create our office manual, routines and protocols.

  • Keep the SF office clean, organized and ready for the team. That means non-janitorial tidying of common areas, meeting rooms, the kitchen and storage.

  • Keep us stocked with everything from stationery to snacks, drinks and coffee.

  • Coordinate team lunches, and set up for special events and All Hands.

  • Troubleshoot Zoom and Google Meet room devices, room booking tablets, and AirPlay or cable connections for all hands meetings.

  • Handle mail, packages and shipping for the team.

  • Be the main contact for office vendors, including catering, building management and maintenance.

About you
  • You’re excited to work onsite in San Francisco, Tuesday through Thursday each week, with a day in Menlo Park every other week to ensure that office is flowing. Time in Menlo may decrease as we transition this to a satellite office.

  • You have 3+ years supporting a senior executive at a fast-paced company

  • You've worked in office management, workplace experience or operations.

  • You can juggle many requests that each feel urgent to the person asking. You prioritize, keep people updated, and get it all done without losing your cool.

  • You move fast and make decisions on the spot without missing details. When things are ambiguous or changing, you stay calm and keep your sense of humor.

  • You set a high bar. Nothing gets dropped, and our executives trust your work completely.

  • You're AI-native. You use Claude to work faster, and you bring the judgment, taste and human touch that make every message feel thoughtful and polished.

  • You're a straight shooter. If you disagree, you say so up front. If the answer is still no, you commit and make it happen.

  • You spot needs before anyone asks and find solutions on your own.

  • You're warm and welcoming, communicate clearly, and work well with all kinds of personalities.

  • You're strong in Gmail, Google Calendar, Sheets, Slides, Excel and PowerPoint, and you can set up basic office A/V with confidence.

  • You're reliable and punctual. You're online and responsive during business hours, closing loops to keep the team’s work flowing.

Bonus points
  • You already have a system for supporting a busy executive team and running an office.

  • You have experience in business operations, recruiting or HR and can help support the other biz ops staff
