Boeing Global Services is seeking Experienced Modification Technicians to support the 787 Commercial Modifications team in Victorville, California!
This position will provide critical production support to the Delivery Center including improving production efficiency, safety and optimizing product quality. Qualified candidates will perform rework, modification, maintenance, preflight and post-flight checks for delivery.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Performs flight test installations and aircraft functional testing
  • Assists in troubleshooting pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and avionics systems to isolate mechanical and/or electrical/electronic faults and assists in repairing faulty components
  • Assists with pre-flight and post-flight checks and performs maintenance and modification actions
  • Resolves identified problems during operation and testing of deliverable products
  • Verifies the accuracy of work performed and may conduct self-inspection
  • Assists in performing system & sub-system pre-delivery inspections and aircraft maintenance in preparation for delivery
  • Participates in determining details of assignments to accomplish a wide range of objectives
  • Plans, schedules and arranges own activities with the assistance of lead. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives
  • Proficient in Boeing heavy C&D checks
  • Proficient in Boeing Landing gear removal and replacement
  • Proficient in Boeing structural modifications

Basic Qualifications: (Required Skills/Experience)
  • 3+ years of avionics and/or electrical experience.
  • 3+ years' experience with live aircraft systems and flight operations.
  • 3+ years' experience/knowledge with Foreign Object Debris (FOD) risk

Preferred Qualifications: (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant license.
  • Composite repair certifications

Starting Rate of Pay: $75,000 - $98,000 annually
