This team focuses on implementing quality initiatives into our business & functions while working with our internal stakeholders to ensure proper processes and procedures are in place.
In this role, the Quality Systems Specialist will function as a strategic business partner that enables Boeing's business and accelerates Boeing's quality and safety by providing guidance on quality tools and processes. Quality Systems Specialist will collaborate with stakeholders to solve problems, offer innovative solutions, and ensure Early Quality Engagement on new business opportunities to advance Boeing's long-term objectives. - Lead Quality reviews of proposals, contracts, regulatory, program and customer requirements ensuring early quality involvement in program development and integrate contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation
- Lead analysis to identify and facilitate value-added metrics/KPIs, to drive business decisions
- Support and assist with problem management activities: Corrective Action Requests (CAR), Non-Conformance Requests, etc.
- Support and assist program management sustainment and new business efforts
- Facilitate Quality Leadership Reviews
- Develop and lead Quality initiatives
- Focus on continuous improvement, the ability to recognize and implement opportunities to bring preventative best practices to the business
- Implement Quality tools
- Enable Quality Management System
- Provide strategic counseling and coaching on Quality initiatives
- Work under minimal direction
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Quality Processes experience
- 3+ years of experience in Business Process Modeling, Process Management Skills, Integrated Systems Thinking, Business Case Analysis, Process Improvement Methods, Project Leadership, Building Positive Relationships, and/or Analytical Skills
- 3+ years of experience developing and delivering presentations to Senior Leaders
- 3+ years of experience supporting reviews of proposals, contracts, regulatory, program and customer requirements
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field
- Experience in a role that required strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- 10+ years QMS and Quality Processes experience
- 10+ years of experience in a role required strong interpersonal and communication skills
