Position Responsibilities:
• Review supplier-proposed type design changes for compliance with Boeing specification control drawings, installation requirements, CFR regulations, and certification criteria
• Coordinate with engineering groups to meet technical, schedule, and compliance requirements
• Interpret and apply industry and company standards and processes
• Execute design releases per Boeing policy
• Take full ownership of assigned projects and drive them to completion independently with minimal supervision
• Represent the team independently in interaction with suppliers
• Collaborate with the team manager and technical leads
• Guide less experienced engineers in the team
• Develop analytical processes to improve effectiveness, quality and efficiency
• Some tools to be familiar with are CatiaV5, PDM, Enovia, STEALTH, QMAP, REDARS, ETAC, ESPEC, Bridge and other industry engineering tools
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences).
• 5+ years of experience designing structural or interior payload systems
• 3+ years of experience in a military or commercial aircraft environment
• 3+ years of experience with 2D & 3D design with some knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, GD&T
• 3+ years of experience in design release processes, policies and procedures, handling tooling issues, supplier driven changes

- 5+ years of experience in Production, Sub-Components or Spares
- Knowledge of interior specific CFRs and aircraft certification processes
- 1+ Year of experience leading engineering teams
