The priority and objectives are to drive improved supplier performance, achieving measurable targets. Position Responsibilities:
- Build and nurture relationship with Suppliers at all Levels
- Partner with supplier to develop and lead Supplier Recovery Roadmap and Projects - Ensuring progress to plan & actions
- Coordinate, Collaborate and Present Recovery Project Plans, Status, Actions and Help Needed with Supply Chain teams & Key Stakeholders
- Collaborate and develop sense of ownership with internal teams such as Supplier Management, Planning, Engineering, Supplier Quality and Global Field Ops to actively engage on recovery efforts with supplier
- Leads the development of mitigations plans to avoid risk and resolve issues impacting customers and programs
- Analyzes supplier and internal business processes and procedures to identify improvement opportunities
- Strong communication skills, collaboration, and customer focus are critical to be successful in the role
- Travel requirement: 50-75% - minimum twice monthly
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 4+ years of experience in Supplier Management/Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer, Supplier Program Manager, Supply Chain Management Analyst/Item Manager, or Supply Base Manage
- 4+ years of experience managing supplier relationships
- 4+ years of experience applying risk management and mitigation principles
- 4+ years of project management
- 4+ years cross functional experience
- Strong communication and relational skills
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Forecasting, asset mgmt. and collaborative planning
- Experience developing and managing strong relationships with partners (internal & external)
- Experience working with suppliers and managing a supply base in a dynamic environment with frequent expedited procurement demands
- Experience working in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
- Experience implementing process and/or strategy improvements and an applied understanding of Lean practices
- Build effective briefings

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to drive results.
