We are looking for enthusiastic candidates for our career launchpad program. This program is designed to train and license you in the world of insurance, preparing you to own your own agency after a year-long sales & training regimen. As a program participant, you will receive training for licensing, hands-on sales and consultation training, and individual lead provisions to jump-start your career. You will be trained and supported by the district office, while mentored by a current Farmers Insurance Agent. Upon completion of the program, you will be eligible to open your own Farmers Insurance Agency, and, as a program graduate, capital requirements will be waived and an initial set of policies may be provided for instant, residual income.

Responsibilities:
  • Establish, grow, and manage an established portfolio of clients
  • Actively prospect and acquire new clients through networking, referrals, and strategic partnerships
  • Prepare and present quotes, proposals, and new business documents for clients
  • Build strong client relationships and deliver exceptional customer service to retain the book of business and grow agency reputation
Requirements:
  • Currently hold or able to obtain valid CA Property, Casualty, Life, and Health insurance licenses (30-60 days to obtain)
  • Experience in the insurance industry: personal lines, life, and/or commercial
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (bonus points for multiple languages spoken)
  • Ability to work both independently and as a part of a diverse, supportive team
  • Commitment to continuous learning and growth
  • Must not be a spouse or domestic partner of a current Farmers Insurance agency owner
  • Must pass a background check in accordance with Farmers guidelines, policies and procedures
    • The background check will cover two major areas: State, Federal and County Criminal History, and Regulatory Actions
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Hourly Base Pay
  • Mon – Fri Schedule
  • Evenings Off
  • Monthly Sales Commission
  • Quarterly Bonus Structure
  • Upon Program Graduation:
    • Completion Bonus
    • Agency ownership capital requirement waived
    • Initial book of business for residual income (upon availability)
