About the Role

We are seeking to hire a field technician to join our talented team. The field technician is passionate about the intersection of farming and robotics, comfortable working in farming and warehouse environments to oversee, deliver, and manage field trials for our proof of concept (POC) and beyond EV and autonomous vehicles. The field technician is an operator at heart who is action and solution-oriented, adept enough to manage real-time troubleshooting, and thoughtful enough to ask the questions/get the feedback needed to refine and define our next-generation products constantly.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the technical interface between customers, field operations, and engineering to ensure successful deployment, onboarding, and scaling of autonomous tractor fleets
  • Lead on-site system bring-up, troubleshooting, and performance validation in real-world operating environments
  • Translate customer use cases, failure modes, and operational constraints into clear engineering feedback and prioritized requirements
  • Support and enable OEM partner and dealer networks with technical training, escalation support, and field readiness guidance
  • Support pilots, demos, and early production deployments, including customer training and technical enablement
  • Partner with QA, Product, and Fleet Ops to improve reliability, reduce deployment friction, and harden systems for sustained field operation

What You'll Bring

  • B.A/B.S or equivalent highly preferred; technical degree preferred but not required
  • 3-5 years of experience in the agriculture industry or farming
  • 1-3 years of experience driving tractors and trucks with trailers (loading and unloading)
  • 1-3 years of experience working in customer-facing roles
  • Knowledge and ability to safely handle machinery, tools, and materials, and other similar agricultural equipment
  • Willingness to work in tough environments (for example: hot sun, cold, etc.) and travel to testing and trial sites 
  • Experience working with potential customers and serving as a key ambassador of the brand and company  
  • Highly collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
  • Willingness to travel long distances to support customer operations
  • Domestic travel up to 50%
  • Valid CA (or other State authorized) Driver's License

Our interview process is generally conducted in  four (4) phases:

Phone Screen with People Operations (30 minutes)
Video Interview with the Hiring Manager (45 minutes)
Panel Interview (Video interviews scheduled with key stakeholders, each interview will be 30 to 45 minutes)
Final Interviews (CEO, CFO, 30 minutes each)
