About the Role:

We are looking for a strategic and execution-focused Field Marketing & ABM Leader to help drive LangChain's next wave of growth. In this role, you will be the primary marketing partner to our Sales leadership, responsible for building a pipeline-generating engine through targeted Account-Based Marketing (ABM) programs and high-impact field events.

This is a builder’s role. You will inherit one direct report immediately, with the mandate to grow the team this year as we expand into new regions. You will determine where we place our bets geographically and across event types. We are looking for someone who loves the science of ABM and the art of experiential marketing—someone who can orchestrate intimate executive dinners, technical workshops for developers, and large-scale user conferences with equal precision.

You need to be ready to operate as a player-coach. You will set the high-level strategy for how we hit our pipeline goals while also rolling up your sleeves to manage event logistics and campaign execution.

What you’ll do:
  • Own the Field & ABM Strategy — Develop and execute a comprehensive field marketing and ABM strategy that aligns with sales targets to drive new logo acquisition and expansion within key enterprise accounts.

  • Partner with Sales — Act as the strategic marketing partner to the Sales organization. You will meet regularly with Sales leadership to analyze pipeline health, identify gaps, and deploy targeted regional plays to close them.

  • Build the ABM Engine — Orchestrate 1:1 and 1:few multi-channel campaigns targeting our highest priority accounts. You will leverage intent data and open-source usage signals to surround buying committees with relevant messaging, partnering with our digital demand leader.

  • Execute High-Impact Events — Design and run a portfolio of field activities ranging from hosted executive dinners and regional roadshows to third-party conference sponsorships and developer hackathons.

  • Scale our Brand Presence — Lead the strategy and execution of our future flagship user conference, bringing together our massive community of developers and enterprise leaders.

  • Lead and Grow the Team — You will immediately manage one direct report and will be responsible for hiring and scaling the Field/ABM team based on regional needs and ROI analysis.

  • Measure and Optimize — Track and report on the performance of field and ABM programs, focusing on pipeline generation, acceleration, and revenue impact.

What we're looking for
  • Experience: 8+ years in B2B marketing with a focus on Field Marketing, ABM, or Regional Marketing, preferably at a developer-focused or technical product company. 2+ years of people management experience.

  • Sales Alignment: You have a track record of working closely with the sales team. You speak the language of sales (pipeline, stages, velocity) and view them as your primary internal customer.

  • ABM Expertise: You have experience building ABM programs from the ground up, moving beyond simple direct mailers to true integrated campaigns across digital, content, and events.

  • Event Mastery: Proven ability to execute complex events, from logistics to invites to content. Experience managing a large-scale user conference or global roadshow series is a strong "nice to have."

  • Data-Driven: You make decisions based on pipeline data and ROI, ensuring marketing spend is directed toward the highest-impact activities.

  • Technical Audience Empathy: You understand that selling to developers and AI engineers requires a different approach than selling to traditional business buyers. You know how to create authentic experiences for a technical audience.

Location

  • In-office in San Francisco or New York preferred

  • Must be willing to travel for internal alignment and event production

Compensation

We offer competitive compensation that includes base salary, meaningful equity, and benefits such as health and dental coverage, flexible vacation, a 401(k) plan, and life insurance. Actual compensation will vary based on role, level, and location.

Base Salary Range: $200,000-240,000
