We are looking for an exceptionally organized, detail-driven Field Marketing Associate to support the execution of a growing portfolio of in-person and virtual events. This associate-level role is essential to scaling our event operations, driving the logistics, vendor coordination, internal alignment, providing day-to-day support for the Senior Field Marketing Managers and on-the-ground execution. You’ll collaborate closely across Marketing, DevRel, Sales, Partnerships, and Product teams to help bring our event strategy to life by creating exceptional attendee experiences, maintaining operational excellence, and supporting the growth of our ecosystem.

What You’ll Do:
  • Manage event logistics from planning through execution, coordinating vendors, shipping, asset needs, materials, and swag for in-person and virtual events.
  • Track timelines and deliverables to ensure all event components, including assets, shipments, staging, swag, and documentation, are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Collaborate across teams to streamline efforts, ensure alignment, and drive seamless execution of event initiatives.
  • Manage all event-related contracts, purchase orders, and payments, ensuring timely processing, compliance with procurement guidelines, and accurate tracking across all shows.
  • Maintain organized event documentation, including inventory lists, run-of-show guides, shared drive folders, post-event summaries, and operational workflows.
  • Track attendee engagement, lead capture, post event budget reconciliation and session performance using tools such as Salesforce, Marketo, and event platforms, and assist with reporting to measure success against KPIs.
  • Coordinate internal communications, including event calendars, prep docs, stakeholder briefings, and timeline updates to ensure alignment across teams.

  • Enhanced cross-functional visibility with well-maintained shared assets, organized data, and clear reporting on event performance and engagement.
  • A steady, detail-oriented partner who keeps the team aligned, informed, and ready, enabling DigitalOcean to deliver standout experiences for startups, developers, and cloud builders globally.
Compensation Range: 
  • $55,200 - $82,800

You may qualify for a bonus in addition to base salary; bonus amounts are determined based on company and individual performance.
