What you’ll do

As a Territory Account Executive at Giga, you will be the face of our business to key electrical distributors and partners across your region. You’ll be responsible for identifying new opportunities, nurturing long-term relationships, and driving revenue growth through proactive customer engagement. You’ll work cross-functionally with our product, engineering, and operations teams to deliver high-quality solutions and provide valuable feedback from the field. If you’re a self-starter who enjoys building strong relationships and thrives in a fast-paced, high-impact environment, this role is for you.

Where you’ll work

This is a field-based role where we are looking for candidates located in large metro areas with regular travel to customer sites, industry events, and Giga’s hub offices. You must be based in or near a major metro area with proximity to distributor networks. Expect 50-70% travel within your assigned territory. You will also be expected to join monthly in-person team meetings at our hub offices in Houston.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with electrical distributors, channel partners, and key decision-makers
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within your region
  • Educate partners on Giga’s product offerings and value proposition
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful delivery
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and customer needs
  • Represent Giga at trade shows, conferences, and customer events
  • Maintain accurate records in our CRM and provide regular forecasting and reporting

Requirements

  • 1+ years of sales or business development experience 
  • Proven track record of hitting quotas/KPIS
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to travel frequently and work independently
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)

Bonus points 

  • Experience working for an electrical manufacturer or distributor
  • Background in electrical engineering or technical sales
  • Familiarity with utility, data center, or renewable energy markets
