You will partner closely with senior leaders to support strategic planning, financial management, business operations, and technology investment priorities. As a Business Manager, Vice President in the Payments Technology team, you will partner with technology and business leaders to support strategic planning, financial management, governance, and business operations. You will help drive forecasting, business reviews, executive reporting, and workforce planning while providing insights that support decision-making and business performance. You will work closely with stakeholders across Finance, Product, Technology, and the Front Office to support execution of strategic priorities and technology investments.
Job Responsibilities
- Monitor performance against plans, analyze variances, and oversee forecasting processes while measuring results against business objectives
- Support communication of year-over-year spending trends through forward-looking analysis and multi-year planning
- Prepare executive-level presentations covering strategy, budgets, project delivery, controls, risks, and business performance
- Partner with business stakeholders to support understanding and analysis of technology allocations
- Drive productivity initiatives and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Develop multi-year workforce plans and support location strategy initiatives
- Provide management reporting and communication on business unit performance, highlighting key issues, risks, and opportunities
- Analyze data using Excel and business intelligence tools to interpret complex datasets and provide actionable insights
- Support execution of the technology strategic agenda and planning processes, including monitoring deliverables and milestone tracking
- Coordinate portfolio reviews with Product and Technology stakeholders
- Track technology usage and spending opportunities to help improve cost efficiency
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Experience in Technology Business Management and financial management
- Knowledge of infrastructure technologies, financial management, and cloud financial management practices
- Experience supporting strategic planning, forecasting, budgeting, or business performance management
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and business intelligence tools such as Cognos or Tableau
- Experience creating executive-level presentations and reporting for senior stakeholders
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to analyze large datasets and develop actionable insights
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across multiple functions and levels
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Experience with portfolio governance processes, investment management, or business case development
- Understanding of payments products and supporting technologies
- Experience with infrastructure financial management and cloud financial management practices
