INTERNSHIP REQUIREMENTS...
- Internship will last 10 weeks. (Jan-May 2026)
- Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater at time of application
- At time of application, you must be enrolled in an educational institution.
- You will be working from the NYC office so you must be local in NYC.
The intern will support the FP&A team.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Setup monthly P&Ls for month-close
- Prepare monthly accruals in conjunction with reports from Central Purchasing group and input from functional areas (includes extensive data analysis and comparisons against the monthly budgets/forecasts for accuracy, inputting and tracking monthly expense actuals in finance models, etc.)
- Analyze operating expense account activity to ensure appropriate accounting treatment
- Analyze purchase, T&E and meeting card activity for appropriate coding
- Assist the Sr. Director of Finance and Sr Manager in operating expense variance analysis for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
- Assist with Excel model buildouts as required
- Assist with forecast and budget preparation as needed.
- Prepare Travel & Entertainment expense schedules for all corporate departments
- Assist in preparing accurate, meaningful reports on an ad hoc basis for senior management
- Ability to adhere to stringent deadlines and operational procedures
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong knowledge of office PC and Server applications, such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to adhere to stringent deadlines and operational procedures
- Have strong interpersonal, verbal/written communication skills, leadership, and organizational abilities
- Maintain a professional appearance and be enthusiastic
- Coursework or previous internship experience in Finance or related field is preferred.
