We're looking for a motivated accounting intern to join our finance team and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment. This is a great opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to real-world accounting practices while working alongside experienced professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment reconciliation
  • Support the month-end and year-end close processes by preparing journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Maintain and organize financial records and documentation
  • Assist in preparing financial reports, spreadsheets, and presentations
  • Conduct data entry and ensure accuracy of financial data in accounting software
  • Help with bank statement reconciliations
  • Support the team with ad hoc projects and analysis as needed

Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (sophomore standing or above preferred)
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred
  • Familiarity with basic accounting principles (debits, credits, financial statements)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with NetSuite or similar software a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
