Summary
The Finance Manager is responsible for managing all day-to-day accounting activities including A/P, AR, Fixed Assets, General Ledger and Cash, month-end close, as well as performing FP&A responsibilities for the US and Malaysia entities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage General Ledger, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and Cash to ensure accuracy and timely resolution of issues as followed:
- Maintain complete files and accurate financial record of all payable and receivable transactions, verifications, etc.
- Monitor and post cash receipts, wire transfers and other cash inflows and outflows.
- Reconcile Customer and Vendor transactions with statements and verify account accuracy through reconciliation.
- Vouch and pay invoices after verifying information and obtaining payment authorization.
- Reconcile and book credit card transactions.
- Analyse Accounts Receivable transaction information to identify refunds, delinquent accounts, and insufficient payments.
- Prepare and disburse invoices to customers.
- Collection of delinquent accounts by contacting customers and resolve issues through contacting and working with customer and our sales team.
- Prepare financial reports on all accounts payable and receivable and maintain accurate AP and AR Aging Reports.
- Perform monthly / quarterly accounting close activities relating to General Ledger, AP, AR, and Fixed Assets.
- Prepare account reconciliation and flux analysis.
- Prepare and drive monthly/quarterly BVA departmental spending review, providing analysis, and rolling forecast to guide.
- Assists in coordinating and preparing departmental annual budget plan, ensure rolling forecast inline per plan.
- Responsible for internal controls and external audits queries.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5 or more years relevant finance and business partnering experience
- Team player, self-motivated, able to follow through and meet deadlines
- Proficient in MS Excel and excellent analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Expandable a plus
