About Liquid AI

Spun out of MIT CSAIL, we build general-purpose AI systems that run efficiently across deployment targets, from data center accelerators to on-device hardware, ensuring low latency, minimal memory usage, privacy, and reliability. We partner with enterprises across consumer electronics, automotive, life sciences, and financial services. We are scaling rapidly and need exceptional people to help us get there.

The Opportunity

We are building the commercial engine of a unicorn-stage AI company from scratch. This role serves as the strategic architect for our commercial and product operations, bridging corporate finance with our rapidly evolving Go-To-Market strategy. This is not about maintaining systems; it is about building the infrastructure of a revenue organization.

What We're Looking For

We need someone who:

  • Operates across disciplines: Strong finance DNA combined with operational intuition for sales operations, commissions, and deal desk work.

  • Builds systems from scratch: Excited by greenfield opportunities and architecting sources of truth rather than inheriting legacy stacks.

  • Automates relentlessly: Constantly looks for ways to eliminate manual workflows, especially in invoicing and billing.

  • Thrives in ambiguity: Prefers autonomy over rigid playbooks and can move at the speed of an AI company.

The Work

In this role, you will:

  • Build the GTM Finance Engine: Stand up our CRM and revenue systems, ensuring deal data flows seamlessly into financial reporting.

  • Drive Sales Finance: Partner with the sales team on quotas, commissions, and bookings forecasts. Help structure deals and operationalize quote-to-cash.

  • Contribute to Corporate Finance: Aid in capital allocation, headcount planning, and board reporting beyond sales support.

  • Architect Processes: Design workflows connecting the revenue engine to the general ledger, automating invoicing and collections to support scale.

Desired Experience
  • Sustained Track Record: 6+ years of experience in Finance, with a specific emphasis on Sales Finance, Strategic Finance, or FP&A at a high-growth startup.

  • Commercial Fluency: You have Sales Exposure. You understand how deals get done, how sales teams operate, and the mechanics of enterprise contracts.

  • System Implementation: Experience standing up or managing CRMs and connecting them to finance tools.

What Success Looks Like (Year One)
  • CRM and revenue recognition systems are operational, creating a reliable single source of truth.

  • Invoicing and billing processes are automated, eliminating manual workflows.

  • Clear processes for quotas, commissions, and bookings forecasts that Founders and Board trust

What We Offer
  • Architectural Ownership: The rare opportunity to define the commercial financial stack of a unicorn-stage company from scratch, rather than just operating within existing constraints.

  • Compensation: Competitive base salary with equity in a unicorn-stage company.

  • Health: We pay 100% of medical, dental, and vision premiums for you and your dependents.

  • Financial: A 401(k) matching plan up to 4% of base pay.

  • Time Off: In addition to an Unlimited Time Off policy, we have company-wide "Refill Days" - long weekends scheduled throughout the year to ensure we all unplug together.

  • Environment: Catered lunches, free valet parking (SF), and a culture that values deep work.
