The Finance Operations Manager, US Operations will serve as the primary Finance Business Partner for 42dot's US Branch, owning the branch's financial health and regulatory compliance while maintaining close strategic alignment with Korea Headquarters (HQ). This is a hands-on generalist role for a finance professional who can move fluidly between high-level strategic coordination and day-to-day financial execution.

Responsibilities:

1. Finance Business Partnering & HQ Liaison

  • Serve as the primary financial liaison between the US Branch and Korea HQ, ensuring local compliance and alignment with global financial policies and corporate governance. Serve as the primary local finance lead for annual budgets, mid-to-long-term business plans, and financial forecasts, partnering with Korea HQ. Facilitate and streamline the local Project Approval process, collaborating closely with HQ Strategy and Finance teams.

2. FP&A, Budgeting & Project Control

  • Conduct the initial review of project-based budget proposals drafted by local business units, partnering with Korea HQ to ensure strategic alignment and fiscal responsibility. Serve as the local point of contact for project budget inquiries, tracking budget vs. actuals (BvA) and partnering with HQ on real-time adjustments.

3. Accounting, Taxation & Treasury

  • Partner with external accounting and tax advisory firms and Korea HQ to review local accounting and tax deliverables, supporting local bookkeeping, tax filings. Proactively address local federal, state, and city tax matters, working closely with local advisors and HQ Finance. Support local financial and SOX/Internal Control audits, acting as the key point of contact for external auditors.

4. Financial Operations & Expense Management

  • Administer, reconcile, and enforce policy for corporate credit cards and employee reimbursement programs. Provide local training and guidance on travel and expense (T&E) policy, collaborating with HQ to optimize reimbursement workflows. Partner with HQ and relevant departments to resolve outstanding claims in the expense reimbursement syste

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in corporate finance, FP&A, accounting, or a related field.

  • Experience operating as a finance generalist in a multinational subsidiary or foreign branch is highly preferred.

  • Native or professional-grade fluency in both English and Korean is strictly required to facilitate seamless coordination with Korea HQ and local US partners.

  • Working knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and local tax regulations.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and cross-functional communication skills, with a proven ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, cross-border environment.

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA certification (AICPA or KICPA).

Compensation:

  • $126,000 to $197,640
