Revenue Accounting Intern 

Location – hybrid: Palo Alto, CA  

The Revenue Accounting Intern is a valuable member of the finance revenue accounting team at Intapp. This position will support the Revenue Accounting Team in analyzing, recording, and reporting revenue transactions. This support will involve assisting with preparing contract reviews, preparing various analysis, performing general ledger reconciliations, and aiding with process improvements/automation.

This position will work closely with the Sr. Revenue Analyst and report to the Manager of Revenue.    

What you’ll do: 

  • Support activities on the team with various month-end/quarter-end close activities to meet monthly revenue accounting close deadlines. These include, but are not limited to, contract reviews, revenue holds, revenue flux analysis, journal entry preparation and submission, account reconciliations, ad-hoc project as needed, etc.
  • Gather financial data, perform financial analyses, and build meaningful reports
  • Comply with internal controls as well as update process documentation when needed
  • Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls for assigned areas
  • Assist in external and internal audit
  • Support activities related to identifying opportunities for process improvement or operational automation in existing system infrastructure

What you’ll need: 

  • Enrolled in a program for a Masters or Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • 0-1 years of general accounting skills and US GAAP knowledge
  • Understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition standards
  • Strong understanding of internal controls, accounting policies & procedures
  • Academic knowledge on completing monthly general ledger account reconciliations
  • High level of initiative and ability to meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated and self-directed, however, must have demonstrated ability to work well with people
  • High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills including written and oral communication skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Excellent planning and problem-solving skills 
  • Experience with NetSuite (nice to have)
  • Proficiency in MS Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook required

  • Our Summer 2026 Internship Program begins June 1, 2026, and is projected to end August 7, 2026.
