This includes bending, flaring, fitting, and cleaning tubes to achieve required routing, fit standards, and cleanliness as well as valve and other component disassembly and assembly.
  • Component Prep and Handling: Prepare and handle fluids and pressure systems with precision, including cleaning, operating, maintaining, and ensuring safety and traceability throughout.
  • System Integration: Work alongside engineering and quality teams to integrate fluids and propulsion components and subsystems, supporting checkouts, troubleshooting, and functional tests.
  • Testing and Validation: Conduct and support fluids and propulsion tests including proof, leak, flow, and qualification testing.
  • Safety and Compliance: Follow protocols for hazardous materials handling and pressurized systems.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Technical degree or certification in a relevant field
  • Years of experience in assembly, integration, and testing of aerospace fluids and propulsion systems in line with technician level
  • Experience building and integrating fluids panel and tray assemblies
  • Proficiency in reading engineering drawings, schematics, process sheets, and work instructions
  • Experience with electrostatic discharge sensitive, foreign object and debris critical, and cleanroom operations
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lift 25lbs and work in and around constrained and confined spaces

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Aerospace welding and brazing
  • Orbital tube welding
