Lead end-to-end data migration projects into Salesforce: cleanse and dedupe large datasets, design ETL and mappings, coordinate with clients, test migrated data, provide technical support, and document migration standards and procedures.
This is a remote position.
We are looking to hire a full-time employee or a contractor for Data Migration Consultant. You’ll be part of a global consolidation of multiple Salesforce and CRM instances.
Requirements
- Should have at least 3 years of experience migrating data to Salesforce CRM
- Should have experience working with large volume of data
- Thorough knowledge of database systems
- Thorough knowledge on ETL processes and Data Deduping concepts
- Proficiency with SQL, XML and JSON
- Cleanse data as necessary to remove the potential for issues with data migration
- Managing the entire data migration process by identifying potential issues and resolving them
- Develop best practice standards and protocols for data migration.
- Evaluating different source systems such as Salesforce, Oracle, Netsuite to determine how to best move data from one system to another system
- Coordinating with the client to determine their data needs, including the types of data that need to be migrated and prepare data mappings
- Establishing testing procedures to ensure that the migrated data is accurate and consistent with client specifications
- Providing technical support for the data migration process to ensure that it runs smoothly and efficiently
- Creating documentation of the migration process to serve as a guide for future migration projects
