👉 We are opened to hire candidates wherever they might be on the west coast trough an employee of record contract, as long as you are a fluent or native english-speaking person.
👉 You don't have to match 100% of the requirements. If you believe you're a strong fit, we'd love to hear from you.
🌟We just raised $35M in Series A, if you join Tsuga you will experience a strong growth.

About the role & the team

  • You will join an actual team of 5 FDEs and 2 Product Manager, spread across Europe, USA and the LATAM Region, all reporting to Nils, our Head of Product.
  • We strongly believe that PMs and FDEs must work together to deliver value fast:
    • Bugs are fixed quickly
    • Feature requests don’t stay in backlogs for years
    • We ship ambitious capabilities in days, not months.
  • As you are in a hybrid technical and client-facing role, we expect you to build excellent relationships with the Sales team and act as the technical voice of the customer to win new business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create strong relationships with Account Executives to drive the pre-sales process: discovery, demos, solution design, POCs and support.
  • Our pricing model is based on the volume of data we need to process. During the POC phase, help the Sales team size the deals of our prospects.
  • Translate complex observability challenges into compelling technical solutions using Tsuga.
  • Deliver engaging, hands-on demonstrations that address customer pain points around logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting.
  • Provide technical guidance on integrations with OpenTelemetry (OTel), cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure), Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Serve as a bridge between customer needs and the product team. Be reactive and address small issues to fix them during the POC phase.
  • Respond to RFPs, and support technical evaluations and procurement processes.

About you & what we are looking for

  • Native english speaking (mandatory for the job)
  • 3+ years in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, DevOps, SRE or former software engineer role, in a SaaS or observability-focused environment.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native infrastructure, microservices, and monitoring/telemetry tools (e.g. Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Datadog, or Splunk).
  • Knowledge of container orchestration (Kubernetes)
  • Ability to develop your own internal tooling when necessary to help customers succeed technically. We don’t expect you to write production-ready code, using AI to help you with this is enough.
  • Proven ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Sense of service: you sincerely care about the customer's satisfaction and usage of the product.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfort in fast-paced sales cycles and ability to adapt to customer-specific use cases.

Working at Tsuga

  • 🔥 We move fast. As an early-stage startup, we are pragmatic, we value ownership, and quick feedback over unnecessary process and hierarchy.
  • 🙏 We solve problems, not blame people. When something goes wrong, we fix it, learn from it, and improve the system.
  • 🛠️ We are builders. We start everything from a blank page and we lean on your colleagues' knowledge to move faster.
  • 🙇 We are customer-obsessed. We dogfood Tsuga every day, so you care how the product is actually used and want to contribute ideas.
  • 💥 We lean hard on AI, but not blindly. Our problems are hard and can’t be AI-slopped away.
  • 🌍 We're international from day one. Every quarter, the whole team meets at our French office to align on company goals, celebrate wins, and connect with teammates from the US, UK, the Middle East, and across Europe.
