About Polymarket

Polymarket is the world's largest prediction market platform. We enable individuals to express views on real-world events by trading on outcomes across politics, economics, sports, culture, and current affairs. Built as a peer-to-peer marketplace with no centralized "house," Polymarket aggregates diverse opinions into transparent, market-based probabilities that reflect collective expectations about the future.

We're growing fast — both in terms of volume ($21B traded in 2025) and adoption as an alternative news source. Our ambition is to become a ubiquitous beacon of truth in global media and we need your help adding fuel to the fire.

About the Role

Polymarket is building out our Engineering team to deliver white-glove support to our most active users. This role is for someone with a technical background who wants to work across multiple sides of the business — Product, Engineering, Sales, Support, and Compliance — with the main focus on delivering results for clients. The majority of your time will be spent understanding client needs, providing solutions, and shaping feedback into product decisions. You will act as a mini-founder within a mini-startup within Polymarket.

What You'll Do

The Forward Deployed Product Engineer will work closely with Polymarket's partners to ensure they get the most value from the platform. You'll manage the relationship from onboarding through long-term retention, resolve problems before they escalate, and use that first-hand knowledge to shape what we build next.

  • Own a named portfolio of clients — manage the relationship from onboarding through ongoing success

  • Vibe code every day — pull data from the platform, write SQL against our warehouse, read the relevant code paths, ship fixes when they unblock a client, and make sure our support organization gets 1% better every single day

  • Translate real client pain into product insight — surface product gaps, track adoption signals, and influence the roadmap through both data and intuition

  • Act as the voice of the client, internally and externally — build trust with our technical teams and business leaders, and push for the fixes that matter

  • Turn great support into growth — drive referrals and ensure a magical experience for our most sophisticated traders

What We're Looking For
  • 1+ years of experience in developer, customer engineering, or technical support roles — bonus if you've worked directly with sophisticated traders, institutional clients, or high-stakes power users

  • You are an engineer with a strong technical background who loves working close to customers and product

  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, SQL)

  • Comfortable debugging API requests and dev environments

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in online and community settings — clear, fast, and human; tone-reading is a default skill

  • Strong prioritization, time management, and attention to detail — you can hold 10+ live client threads and not drop any

  • (Plus) Domain context in prediction markets, sportsbooks, derivatives, or equities — any market microstructure background where outcomes and edge matter

  • (Plus) Active trading experience

  • (Plus) Previous founder experience

Benefits
  • Competitive salary & equity

  • Unlimited PTO

  • Full Health, Vision, & Dental coverage

  • 401k match

  • Equinox membership

  • Hardware setup: new MacBook Pro, big display, & accessories
