About Onos Health

Onos Health's mission is simple but ambitious: ensure every healthcare dollar goes toward delivering the highest quality care. Today, nearly 30% of U.S. healthcare spending is wasted due to ineffective care and administrative burden, driven by misalignment between providers and payers. This waste is a primary reason healthcare remains unaffordable for so many.

Onos is addressing this by building the largest AI-driven healthcare data platform. Our models enable payers to make faster, more accurate decisions across their populations. By guiding members to the right care, Onos channels more dollars to high-quality care that drives outcomes while reducing waste and making healthcare more affordable.

Onos recently closed a Series A round with top-tier investors and is already working with some of the nation's largest health plans, signing its first national plan just months after launch.

Come join a category-defining company and help reimagine healthcare for the better.

Why Onos?
  • Meaningful impact: Help fix what is fundamentally broken in healthcare

  • Direct collaboration: Work alongside experienced founders with deep healthcare and data expertise

  • Culture: Join a high-performing, transparent, and results-oriented team

  • Ownership: Significant responsibility and autonomy from day one

  • Opportunity: Play a pivotal role in building a fast-growing, category-defining healthcare AI company

The Role

We're seeking a Forward-Deployed Product Manager who is motivated to fix how behavioral health care is managed, delivered, and paid for in the United States. This is a high-ownership, client-facing role at the intersection of product, account management, and implementation, built for someone who wants to be close to the problem, not just the roadmap. This is also our first product hire, so we’re looking for a strong add to the team who can help set the tone and lead by example.

You will own a portfolio of 1-2 health plan customers end-to-end: leading the day-to-day relationship, translating their clinical and operational needs into product direction, and working directly with your pod's engineer to ship. You'll be the person your customers trust, the person engineering relies on for clarity, and an early voice in shaping how Onos builds and delivers at scale. You will report directly to the Chief Product Officer.

What You'll Be Doing at Onos
  • Own the own the strategic relationship with the client, understand their pain points, and help guide to the product for their specific needs

  • Develop deep fluency in how health plans operate across utilization management, prior authorization, and clinical workflows so you can anticipate needs and drive real outcomes

  • Translate customer requirements into clear product specs and acceptance criteria that your engineering partner can execute against

  • Manage project timelines and delivery, holding the pod accountable and communicating proactively when things shift

  • Surface patterns across your accounts that inform the broader product roadmap

  • Help define the playbook for how Onos serves customers as we grow

What We're Looking For
  • 3-7 years of experience in product management and/or consulting

  • Strong communicator who can run a client meeting, write a clear spec, and follow up without being chased

  • Project management discipline; you track details, hit deadlines, and keep things moving

  • Comfortable working with technical teams and translating between business and engineering

  • Self-directed and comfortable with ambiguity; we're early and the playbook is still being written

  • Ability to navigate complex situations across clients

  • Passionate about solving healthcare’s biggest challenges

Bonus Points If You Have
  • MPH, MHA, or other health policy or public health credential

  • Experience at a health plan, BHMO, managed care organization, or health plan vendor

  • Strategy consulting background

Benefits and Perks
  • Flexible remote-first arrangement

  • Unlimited vacation policy

  • Paid parental leave

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance

  • Pre-tax commuter benefits

  • 401(k)

  • Significant equity as an early employee

  • Direct mentorship from experienced founders

  • Ground-floor opportunity to help build a team and culture

  • Regular team events and offsites

  • Company-provided equipment and home office setup

We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.

  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
