About Poetic

Poetic (formerly known as Forge) is creating the next layer of human-computer interaction - combining the intelligence of AI with the reliability of software. We automate the most complex manual processes for the world's largest enterprises using a new English programming language that blends structured control flow with natural language instructions. Processes that once took hours can now be completed in a fraction of the time at superhuman quality.

Poetic is deployed globally, powering critical workflows for Fortune 500 companies with 98%+ quality across over half a million production runs.

About the Role

As a Forward Deployed Strategist at Poetic, you will be on the front lines of a fundamental shift in how enterprises operate. You will own our most strategic customers (some of the largest companies in the world) to drive the adoption and expansion of automation that was previously impossible. These are not incremental improvements; you'll be orchestrating the rollout of solutions that replace entire workflows employing hundreds of people for decades.

This role sits at the intersection of strategy, relationship management, and operational excellence. You'll navigate complex enterprise organizations, align stakeholders from operations teams to C-suite executives, and own deployments end-to-end — from initial pilot through global scale. You'll build deep, lasting relationships inside Fortune 500 organizations and drive the change management required to transform how they operate.

We expect our Forward Deployed Strategists to operate with exceptional autonomy, thrive under ambiguity, and represent Poetic at the highest level in customer environments. You will be Poetic to our customers — the person who makes adoption seamless and expansion inevitable. This is a rare opportunity to shape the forward-deployed motion at a company redefining what software can do.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and navigate complex organizations, building alignment across multiple stakeholders at all levels

  • Plan ahead and see around corners to ensure smooth deployments with blockers mitigated and key milestones reached

  • Conduct deep process discovery with customers, breaking down complex, ambiguous workflows into precise, actionable steps

  • Drive change management and ensure customers' teams stay informed and aligned throughout rollouts

  • Scale deployments from initial pilot to full production volume and beyond

  • Identify and codify repeatable deployment patterns, contributing insights back to our Product and Engineering teams

  • Build long-term customer relationships and proactively identify new automation opportunities throughout engagements

  • Grow accounts and scale deployments globally

You May Be a Good Fit If You Have

  • 5+ years of experience in a strategic, technical customer-facing role such as Deployment Strategist, Account Management, or Management Consulting with enterprise clients. Former founders are also encouraged to apply.

  • Significant experience navigating large enterprise customers and complex deals

  • Baseline technical fluency to engage credibly on product and implementation details

  • High agency with the ability to navigate ambiguity in complex enterprise environments

  • The ability to develop deep, trusting relationships quickly with anyone — from analysts to executives

  • An ownership mentality and willingness to do whatever it takes to make deployments successful and customers thrilled

  • Strong written and verbal communication, and project management skills to drive alignment across cross-functional teams

Nice to Have

  • Background in financial services, healthcare, or another enterprise vertical

  • Experience with enterprise systems and operations teams
