(In person - San Francisco)

Nango (YC W23) lets developers build product integrations with AI. It enables applications to connect to the real world through integrations.

More than 500 paying customers rely on Nango today, including Replit & Ramp. We are a YC-backed, mid-seven-figure ARR company with a team of 14 from AWS, GitHub, Okta, Snyk, Netlify, Uber, Samsara, Workato, and other top-tier dev tools.

We are hiring a Founder's Associate to work directly with the two founders across all aspects of running and scaling the company. This is a highly transversal role with broad exposure to strategy, growth, product & operations. It is an exceptional opportunity to learn how a startup is built and scaled from the inside.

What You'll Do
  • Partner directly with the founders on the highest-leverage problems across the company, spanning product, go-to-market, strategy, operations, finance, and hiring.

  • Own ambiguous, high-impact projects end-to-end. One month you might reshape our pricing, lead discovery for a new AI opportunity, prepare the groundwork for launching a new product, or rethink our positioning based on customer and market research.

  • Help define how Nango grows by researching markets, ICPs, competitors, customer needs, and emerging trends in AI and developer tools.

  • Work closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales to turn strategy into execution and ensure our biggest priorities actually happen.

  • Build AI-powered systems, automations, and internal tools that help Nango scale without adding unnecessary operational overhead.

  • Lead company-wide initiatives such as offsites, ESOP administration, certifications, compliance projects, internal tooling, or other cross-functional programs.

  • Own and continuously improve core business operations, including finance, legal, billing, vendor management, contracts, and other operational processes as the company grows.

  • Act as an extension of the founders, working on whatever is most important to building Nango into a category-defining company.

Who You Are
  • You want to become a founder one day—or you’re excited by the opportunity to help build a company from the inside and grow into a key leadership role.

  • You have a technical background and are comfortable writing code, working with APIs, and building automations. You’re likely an engineer by training or experience.

  • You use AI extensively to research, write, analyze, prototype, and automate your work, and are constantly looking for ways to increase your leverage.

  • You’re fascinated by startups, B2B SaaS, developer tools, and AI, and naturally enjoy understanding products, markets, customers, and company strategy.

  • You’re exceptionally analytical, structured, and able to quickly learn unfamiliar domains, whether that’s pricing, legal, finance, compliance, or go-to-market.

  • You’re comfortable owning ambiguous problems without a playbook and driving them through to completion.

  • You communicate clearly, think independently, and earn trust across technical and non-technical teams.

  • Bonus: you’ve been a founder, an early startup employee, contributed to open source, built developer products, or have experience in a fast-growing B2B software company.
