We are looking for a founding Account Executive to help build and manage our growing pipeline, while helping to optimize our sales playbook and lay the foundation for scaling the team.

 

This is a perfect role for someone who is scrappy, entrepreneurial, highly experimental, and interested in helping build a sales team from scratch. Ideally you have the ambition to run your own sales team one day and are comfortable working in low structure/high ambiguity environments. This is a full sales cycle role, you will have the opportunity to execute end to end from outbound prospecting through account management. 

The ideal candidate has experience working in freight/logistics/transportation and excelled in an early stage B2B startup. At a minimum you will need to have some form of freight/logistics experience. 


As one of our first Account Executives you’ll:

  • Cold call, cold call, cold call!! You cannot be afraid to pick up the phone. You will also be prospecting through emails, events, conferences and other direct communication strategies
  • Manage our outbound process, including writing and testing to identify successful messaging, and iterating on customer segmented strategies 
  • Manage the entire customer funnel, supporting prospects through the customer journey
  • Bring your creativity to bear with fresh ideas on winning new customers
  • Help define how we make your process repeatable for the next hires 


Strong candidates will have:

  • Experience in supply chain/logistics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 3+ years of experience in a sales role where you consistently exceeded metrics.
  • Experience working in an early stage SaaS business or an early-stage b2b company 
  • Full stack sales experience: from outbound prospecting and lead generation all the way through to demos and closing deals
  • Data driven approaches to inform the sales process, including frequent tracking and reporting efforts
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, while consistently assessing what to prioritize and deprioritize 
  • Experience with Salesforce and Outreach (or equivalent); excited to experiment with new Sales tools

  • Is collaborative and comfortable working in an early stage startup where learning and adapting quickly is important.
  • Has the ability and willingness to travel 30%+ of the time
