Founding Account Executive

Menlo Park, CA (or Remote) | Full-Time | Equity + Competitive OTE

About Statisfy

Statisfy is an AI-native platform that turns customer engagements and business data into actionable intelligence for Revenue and Customer Success teams. Backed by Emergent Ventures, Tau Ventures, and Correlation Ventures, we are trusted by fast-growing B2B companies including MixPanel, Eightfold.ai, Illumio, and Observe.ai.

We eliminate the operational overhead burying post-sales teams — giving CSMs back 60%+ of their day and delivering 2-5% NRR lift in weeks, not months.

The Role

We are hiring our first quota-carrying seller. As Founding AE, you will own the full sales motion — from generating your own pipeline to closing deals and shaping the playbook that scales after you. No hand-offs, no excuses, just results.

You will work directly with the founders, have a seat at the GTM strategy table, and earn meaningful equity in a company with real traction and a massive market opportunity.

What You'll Do

• Own the full sales cycle — prospecting, discovery, demo, negotiation, and close

• Build your own pipeline through creative, AI-powered outbound and inbound follow-up

• Partner with our Founder/CEO to refine ICP, messaging, and go-to-market strategy

• Develop repeatable plays that become the foundation of our sales playbook

• Represent Statisfy in the Customer Success and Revenue community

• Hit and exceed quota — and help define what quota looks like at this stage

What We're Looking For

Pipeline Generation Chops

• You started as a BDR or SDR and earned your way into a closing role — you know how to build pipe from zero

• You don't wait on inbound — you create your own opportunities through creativity and smart targeting

• You have a proven track record of self-sourcing a meaningful percentage of your own deals

• You will be partnering with marketing to iterate on pipe gen campaigns to drive results

Self-Starter

• You thrive with autonomy — ambiguity energizes you, not frustrates you

• You've delivered results in environments where the playbook didn't exist yet

• You are a creative problem-solver who figures things out without waiting for direction

B2B SaaS Startup Experience

• You have sold at an early-stage B2B software company (Series A or earlier preferred)

• You understand startup sales dynamics — speed, trust, and relationships matter as much as the product

• Experience selling to Customer Success, Revenue, or Post-Sales leaders is a strong plus

AI-Native

• AI is woven into everything you do — prospect research, message personalization, call prep, pipeline prioritization

• You're a power user of tools like GPT or Claude, and you're always learning what's next

• You can speak credibly to AI-skeptical buyers because you live it yourself

Drive for Constant Improvement

• You debrief every loss, study every win, and always ask: what could I have done better?

• You seek feedback, act on it fast, and raise your own bar without being asked

• You want to be great, not just good

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Customer Success platforms (Gainsight, ChurnZero, Totango)

• Experience selling data, analytics, or AI-powered SaaS

• Salesforce or HubSpot CRM proficiency

Why Join

• Build the sales motion from scratch — you'll own what you create

• Work directly with the founders on GTM strategy

• Competitive base + uncapped commission + meaningful early-stage equity

• Remote-first, high-trust culture — we care about outcomes, not hours

• Be part of a company defining what AI-native Customer Success looks like

Our Values

• Transformative — Strategic, ambitious, and results-driven

• Every Day Matters — Owners who are decisive and deliberate

• Customer Obsession — Empathetic and relentlessly focused on outcomes

• Joy — Spirited, spontaneous, and built on mutual trust

• Integrity — Transparent, ethical, and honest
