The summary above was generated by AI

At Composio, we are building infrastructure that allows agents to communicate with the tools you use for work including Github, Gmail, Notion, Salesforce, etc. We are a small team of engineers wrangling problems from context to search, that help us provide the most capable bridge between your agents and your tools.

We raised a $25M Series A from Lightspeed with some incredible angels like Guillermo Rauch (CEO of Vercel), Dharmesh Shah (CTO of Hubspot), Gokul Rajaram. Beginning of this year we 3x our ARR, our customers range from your friends in the YC batch to Wabi, Glean, Zoom and many more.

We are at an inflection point: strong inbound demand, a product that is winning, and a sales motion that is just beginning to be formalized. This is a founding role for someone who can build the BDR function from scratch as a hands-on operator, not just a manager.

What you'll do?
  • own the BDR function end-to-end: strategy, process, tooling, hiring, and day-to-day execution

  • carry a personal pipeline quota in addition to team targets - lead from the front, not the whiteboard

  • build and iterate the outbound playbook: ICP definition, sequencing, messaging, channel mix, and account prioritization

  • hire, onboard, and develop BDRs; create the hiring bar, ramp program, and performance framework from scratch

  • partner with Marketing to turn content, events, and intent signals into pipeline quickly

  • work with Account Executives to define qualified opportunities and keep handoffs tight

  • own the BDR tech stack across CRM hygiene, enrichment, sequencing, AI-assisted outreach, and reporting

  • report pipeline, activity, and conversion metrics weekly and surface insights that shape product and GTM strategy

"Must haves"

if you are very good, nothing is a must per-se

  • 3-6 years in BDR or SDR roles, with at least 1-2 years in a lead or player-coach capacity at a high-growth SaaS or developer-tools company

  • proven track record building outbound playbooks from scratch, not just executing someone else's

  • strong hiring instincts: you know how to spot coachable, hungry talent and develop it into top performers

  • technical fluency: comfortable talking to developers, understanding APIs and infrastructure products, and demoing complex tools at a high level

  • deep familiarity with modern GTM tools such as Clay, Apollo, Gong, Salesforce, AI-assisted outreach, and enrichment tooling

  • excitement about using AI and automation to build a leaner, higher-output team

  • bias toward action and experimentation: you would rather ship a good playbook today and iterate than wait for perfect conditions
