As a Business Development Representative at Composio, you'll convert inbound and outbound leads into qualified opportunities while working with Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams to enhance outreach and engagement strategies.
The summary above was generated by AI

At Composio, we are building infrastructure that allows agents to communicate with the tools you use for work including Github, Gmail, Notion, Salesforce, etc. We are a small team of engineers wrangling problems from context to search, that help us provide the most capable bridge between your agents and your tools.

We raised a $25M Series A from Lightspeed with some incredible angels like Guillermo Rauch (CEO of Vercel), Dharmesh Shah (CTO of Hubspot), Gokul Rajaram. Beginning of this year we 3x our ARR, our customers range from your friends in the YC batch to Wabi, Glean, Zoom and many more.

As a founding BDR, you will turn high inbound interest and targeted outbound demand into qualified opportunities. You will create excellent first-touch experiences for teams exploring agentic AI and learn how to use AI, automation, and Composio itself to become a next-generation GTM operator.

What you'll do?
  • follow up with inbound and outbound prospects across phone, email, LinkedIn, communities, and events

  • uncover fit, urgency, pain, and potential value quickly enough to create useful meetings for Account Executives

  • build targeted outbound lists and research accounts deeply enough to write specific, relevant outreach

  • partner with Account Executives to hand off qualified meetings and keep the buyer experience clean from first touch through discovery

  • use Composio and modern sales tools to automate list building, enrichment, and sequencing so your time goes into conversations

  • capture field insights that sharpen our sales plays, messaging, and product roadmap

  • experiment with new channels, triggers, and sequences; treat outreach as a craft and improve it continuously

"Must haves"

if you are very good, nothing is a must per-se

  • 1-2 years in a Sales, SDR, or BDR role in SaaS or tech, or exceptional drive and curiosity if you are earlier in your career

  • clear, confident communication with both developers and business practitioners

  • genuine interest in AI tools and modern GTM - you have already started experimenting, not just reading about it

  • comfort with ambiguity: you can follow a repeatable process while improving it at the same time

  • persistence, organization, and positive energy: you follow up, follow through, and bring quality to every interaction
