About Us
Gumloop is the multiplayer AI agent builder. We believe the people who know the work best should be able to automate it, and use what they build to help their whole team do more.

Anyone at a company can build, share, and optimize agents with any AI model and any integration. Teams can orchestrate those agents across their business, while IT keeps full control over data, access, and spend.

We're a small team building as fast as humanly possible. Gusto, Ramp, Shopify, Samsara, Instacart, and Opendoor are running agents on Gumloop across their company. We've raised over $70M from Benchmark, First Round Capital, Y Combinator, Nexus Ventures to scale and are looking for people who care as much as we do to join the team.

Here’s what life at Gumloop is like:

Role Overview

We’re hiring a Senior Business Recruiter to own hiring for Gumloop’s go-to-market and business teams. You’ll sit with the leaders building sales, marketing, customer success, and operations. You’ll help shape these teams as they grow, and the people you hire will play a direct role in Gumloop’s success.

Gumloop is the platform you'll use to reshape how recruiting gets done. A meaningful part of your day will be building and working with AI agents for yourself, the recruiting team, and the broader company. We're looking for someone who is excited to experiment, experienced enough to own searches end to end, and scrappy enough to find answers when there isn't an obvious playbook.

What You'll Do

• Own full-cycle recruiting for business roles across marketing, partnerships, customer success, and operations, from the first intake meeting through the offer.

• Build a candidate pipeline from scratch through direct sourcing and outreach, and keep searches moving when inbound is limited or candidates aren't responding.

• When the usual outreach isn't getting through, rethink the playbook and find creative ways to reach and engage the talent we need.

• Use AI and automation to take repetitive recruiting work off your plate and make more time for candidate and hiring-manager conversations.

• Give every candidate a clear, thoughtful experience from first contact through the final decision, whether or not they receive an offer.

• Act as a talent partner to hiring managers to advise on role scope, compensation, and candidate expectations before they slow a search down.

• When a search isn't working, identify the problem early and adjust your approach rather than waiting for the next status meeting.

What You Bring

• You have owned full-cycle recruiting for business roles, partnering directly with senior leaders from intake through close.

• You've recruited at a startup or another fast-moving company, where you had to adapt as priorities changed.

• When the answer isn't obvious, you work it out, take the next step, and adjust as you learn.

• You don't rely on inbound to fill a role. You know how to find the right people, build a pipeline from scratch, and write outreach that gets responses.

• You have used AI / have built agent workflows to automate tasks and get more done, and you know when to keep a human in the loop.

• You are comfortable working in Gumloop's San Francisco office five days a week.

Bonus

• You've hired specifically for marketing, sales, or customer success positions.

• You've worked in Ashby, or you can get fluent in it quickly.

Benefits
  • Highly competitive salary and meaningful equity

  • Generous paid time off: 24 days for SF employees and 20 days globally, use them as you need

  • $350/month wellness benefit to spend on gym, spa, equipment, or whatever keeps you at your best

  • 15 days of temporary remote work flexibility per year

  • 401k/RRSP match up to 6%

Key Facts About San Francisco Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 365,500; 13.9% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Bessemer Venture Partners, Greylock Partners, Khosla Ventures, Kleiner Perkins
  • Research Centers and Universities: Stanford University; University of California, Berkeley; University of San Francisco; Santa Clara University; Ames Research Center; Center for AI Safety; California Institute for Regenerative Medicine
