Founding Engineer

At Infinite, we're making global payments faster, cheaper, and compliant. We're a global payments processor built for B2B use cases, serving across 5 continents and 150+ countries. While stablecoin settlements are revolutionizing finance, traditional businesses lack the tools to leverage them fully. We offer simple APIs, dashboards, and easy-to-integrate SDKs to reduce friction and accelerate global go-to-market. We're serving 5+ customers and have millions in committed volume.

As a founding engineer, you'll build the core foundations of Infinite's global payments platform. You'll make critical architecture decisions, build products from 0 to 1, and lead a team of talented engineers. This is your chance to join the founding team and work directly with the founders to build the next generation payments platform. At Infinite, we ship fast and iterate faster - we prioritize progress over perfection. You'll step in to unlock tens of millions in customer volume waiting in our backlog.

• Architect and build products from scratch

• Foster a high-velocity engineering culture where shipping beats perfection

• Lead and mentor engineers to establish our engineering foundation

• Work directly with founders and customers to execute our technical vision

• Own the full stack, building and maintaining products with zero downtime

• Design data architecture for complex ledgering systems

• Integrate on/off ramp providers, banking solutions and fintech services

• Make smart tradeoffs between speed and scalability

• Proficiency in Next, TypeScript, C#, Golang, Python

• Full stack ownership from front-end to infrastructure

• Experience with async and event-driven architecture

• 0-to-1 mindset with ability to complete projects end-to-end

• Strong communication and leadership

• Experience building fintech/payments products

5-10+ years in software engineering with proven success building complex software, shipping 0-to-1 products, and fostering high-performance culture.

You're willing to do things that don't scale while simultaneously building systems that will - enabling customers today while building for tomorrow.
