Company Overview

Hi! We’re bem. We are building the infrastructure layer for modern enterprise workflows.

For decades, the world’s most critical industries, supply chain, insurance, financial services, and healthcare, have been hamstrung by unstructured data. Trillions of dollars in revenue and operational decisions are trapped in messy PDFs, complex emails, and endless spreadsheets. While the AI revolution has promised a solution, most offerings are flashy toys, not the dependable, high-accuracy systems that enterprises can actually trust.

We are changing that.

bem provides a new paradigm: an AI platform that automates the toughest, most unstructured enterprise workflows with a degree of accuracy and control that was previously impossible. We don't just extract data; we deliver reliable, trainable AI functions that can be orchestrated to automate entire end-to-end business processes. We are the trusted, operational infrastructure that turns chaos into structure. Backed by top-tier investors and pulled forward by massive market demand, we are looking for a foundational member to help us build a generational company.

The Opportunity: Your Role

This is not a typical AE role. We are looking for a Founding Enterprise Account Executive to be a foundational pillar of our Go-To-Market team. You won't just be handed a quota and a playbook; you will be instrumental in building the enterprise sales motion from the ground up, working directly with the founders to convert a multi-million dollar pipeline of the world's most iconic companies.

This is a career-defining opportunity to architect the sales culture of a company at a clear inflection point. We need an expert who can navigate the most complex enterprise sales cycles, build undeniable ROI-driven business cases, and close the foundational six- and seven-figure deals that will define our trajectory.

What You’ll Work On
  • Own the Full Sales Cycle: You will manage and close complex deals with large enterprise customers, from initial technical validation to final contract negotiation.

  • Land Foundational Accounts: You will take the lead on converting our existing, explosive pipeline ($5M+) of inbound interest from iconic, Fortune 500 companies in retail, healthcare, and logistics.

  • Generate New Pipeline: While you will inherit a massive inbound pipeline, you will also be expected to leverage your network and build outbound motions to generate new enterprise opportunities.

  • Build the Enterprise Playbook: You will partner directly with the CEO and Head of Growth to refine and codify our enterprise sales process—from identifying champions and economic buyers to building powerful business cases.

  • Be the Voice of the Customer: You will work closely with our product and engineering teams, providing invaluable feedback from the front lines to help shape the future of the bem platform.

  • Quarterback the Deal: You will orchestrate internal resources, including our founders and CS engineering team, to provide a world-class, "white-glove" experience for our most strategic prospects.

Who You Are
  • An Enterprise Closer: You have 5+ years of experience in enterprise sales and a clear track record of not just meeting, but significantly exceeding your quota. You can speak to your successes and know how to navigate complex procurement processes to close six-figure (or larger) deals.

  • A Hunter: You are excited to play a foundational role in outbound pipeline generation and have a book of contacts you are ready to leverage.

  • A Technical Mind: You have experience selling technical infrastructure, data platforms, or AI/ML solutions. You are comfortable talking to both business operators and engineering leaders.

  • A Process Builder: You are a process nerd who thrives on bringing order to chaos. You don't just follow the playbook; you build and improve it.

  • A Strategic Partner with a Founder's Mentality: You think long-term and understand that building trust is more important than closing a deal at all costs. You thrive in ambiguity and are excited to partner with engineering and product to solve problems, not just sell a finished product.

  • Highly Coachable & Adaptable: You are a quick study, able to dive in to see what’s working, identify gaps, and pivot quickly. You thrive in a fast-paced environment where the playbook is still being written.

  • Ambitious & Relentless: You are excited by the challenge of a greenfield opportunity and have the hunger and drive to build something massive from the ground up.

Why bem?
  • Massive Market & Unprecedented Demand: You are stepping into a company that has found clear product-market fit. You will be selling a solution that the largest companies in the world are actively pulling from us.

  • A New Paradigm: You won't be selling another "me-too" product. You will be selling a fundamentally new and better way to solve a decades-old problem.

  • Architect the GTM: You won't just influence the sales culture; you will build it. You will have a direct line to the founders and the autonomy to shape the GTM strategy that defines our success.

  • A World-Class Team: You will collaborate with a small, highly technical, and deeply committed team that has navigated the startup rodeo before and is obsessed with winning.

  • Incredible Upside: You will receive a competitive salary and a significant, early-stage equity package in a company that is poised for explosive growth.

Join us at bem and be part of the team building the future of enterprise automation. This is the moment to build.

Key Facts About San Francisco Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 365,500; 13.9% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Bessemer Venture Partners, Greylock Partners, Khosla Ventures, Kleiner Perkins
