Founding Growth Marketer

At Gradient Labs, we’re on a mission to make exceptional customer service the norm.

Founded in 2023, we’ve quickly gone from an idea to a growing team with customers you know (and probably love). Our AI agent helps businesses handle even the trickiest, high-stakes customer support queries safely and effectively, all while giving them the visibility and control they need to trust the outcomes.
We’re a small but mighty team of builders from leading companies like Monzo, Pleo, and Google.

If you’re excited to tackle some of the hardest problems in AI and help shape the future of customer operations, we’d love to hear from you.

🎯 How you’ll make an impact

We are seeking a Founding Growth Marketer to take complete ownership of demand generation and pipeline creation from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity for a strategic builder who thrives on autonomy and impact.

You won't be following a playbook, you'll be writing it. You will design, implement, and optimise the GTM systems necessary to drive reliable pipeline, focusing primarily on high-leverage channels like Paid Advertising and Account-Based Marketing, with room to experiment with emerging channels like Reddit and AEO.

This role grants you broad autonomy over strategy and budget allocation, encouraging rapid execution and bold experimentation. If you see an opportunity for impact (whether through out-of-home advertising, novel campaigns, or new channels) you'll have the freedom to pursue it.

  • Drive Demand Generation: Build and manage full-spectrum demand programs to build a consistent, qualified flow of pipeline to Sales.

  • Execute Strategic ABM: Design and scale end-to-end Account-Based campaigns, including targeting, personalised outreach, and retargeting high-value accounts.

  • Own the GTM Stack: Own the marketing technology stack (Hubspot, Apollo, Clay) and leverage modern GTM automation tools (e.g., n8n) to stitch together data sources, extract signals, and act on them, at scale. Coding experience is not required, just a deep curiosity and the ability to learn new tools quickly.

  • Collaborate with Sales: Partner with Sales on pipeline planning, ICP refinement, data enrichment, and smooth lead-handoff processes

  • Optimise Full-Funnel Performance: Track, analyse, and optimise full-funnel metrics (CAC, conversion rates, lead quality) and run continuous experiments to maximise results.

💡 What you’ll bring

  • B2B SaaS/AI Experience: Proven track record in B2B growth marketing within Enterprise SaaS or high-growth AI startups.

  • Performance Marketing Expert: Extensive hands-on experience managing and optimising significant paid budgets across major B2B platforms (LinkedIn, Google Ads, etc.).

  • Sales-Led Demand Specialist: Demonstrated success driving pipeline and high-quality demand in a purely Sales-Led B2B motion (not PLG).

  • Growth Systems Builder: Experience establishing robust marketing systems and infrastructure with strong instincts for effective enterprise messaging.

  • Analytical Rigour: Exceptional data-driven skills focused on continuously optimising CAC and ROI.

  • ABM Expertise: Direct experience with, or a strong willingness to master, advanced Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies and technologies.

  • Curiosity and Growth Mindset: Eagerness to learn and experiment with new tools to drive better targeting and increased automation to drive scalable growth.

Why join Gradient Labs?

This is a unique chance to be part of a team working with cutting-edge technology to reshape how businesses will operate in the future. Over the next 10 years, every company will need to embrace AI-powered operations to stay competitive, and this role puts you right in the middle of that transformation.

You’ll tackle challenging and new problems, work with some of the most exciting brands in banking and fintech across different industries, and be surrounded by a passionate, smart team that’s driven to build something groundbreaking.
