About Casa

We believe owning a home should feel as special as the moments that take place within them. If our mission inspires you, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

We’re looking for a Founding Product Marketer to be Casa’s storyteller-in-chief. You’ll be the first person at Casa focused entirely on product marketing, defining how we communicate our value to the world and show up everywhere — shaping the messaging, positioning, and creative that help homeowners understand what Casa is, why it matters, how it fits into their life at home, and why it’s worth becoming a member.

This role is equal parts storytelling and conversion: defining what a new kind of home ownership experience is and why it matters, while crafting the copy and creative that make someone stop, pay attention, and act. You’ll own our narrative end to end — reimagining how Casa communicates value across every surface, and packaging Casa’s growing set of benefits into stories that land with the right people at the right moments.

This is a highly hands-on role with significant ownership and autonomy. You’ll work directly with our CEO to define strategy, and execute independently. We’re looking for a senior individual contributor, not a manager.

What You’ll Own
  • Narrative & positioning: own how we package and explain Casa — both the overarching story and the messaging for each individual benefit (package pickups, recurring services, and more), tailored to the people each one resonates with

  • Collateral & creative for everything we build: compelling assets across every channel and touchpoint — paid ads, app store, social, in-person, product launches

  • Voice & tone: define and drive Casa’s voice and tone from a commercial context, so the brand stays clear, consistent, and resonant everywhere

  • Conversion: own the gap between first impression and signup — pinpoint exactly where and why prospective members hesitate, and sharpen the messaging and experience that move them from interested to member

  • Creative direction: bring campaigns and assets to life — sometimes in collaboration with external partners and agencies — always ensuring the work reflects Casa’s story

  • Measurement: define what good looks like, and translate insight from customers and channels into stronger messaging and positioning

Who You Are
  • 8+ years in product marketing, brand marketing, or messaging & positioning roles for consumer products

  • An exceptional writer — you craft messaging that is clear, emotionally resonant, persuasive, and conversion-oriented

  • You own narrative end to end: you can take a product, understand what people care about, and distill a compelling story

  • You think deeply about consumer psychology and decision-making – what makes someone stop, trust, and act, not just click

  • You’ve marketed a high-consideration, personal purchase — like home, family, or lifestyle services — where trust, clarity, and storytelling materially influence the decision

  • You combine creativity with analytical rigor; you can talk copy, funnel conversion, and creative performance in the same conversation

  • Comfortable collaborating with external partners and agencies when it helps bring the work to life

  • Highly self-motivated, resourceful, and low-ego; you operate with significant ownership and don’t wait to be unblocked

Nice to Have
  • Experience marketing premium consumer, subscription, home, hospitality, or lifestyle brands

  • Experience reimagining how a product is presented and explained around a clearer, more compelling story

  • Early-stage startup experience building messaging and systems from scratch

San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area attracts more startup funding than any other region in the world. Home to Stanford University and UC Berkeley, leading VC firms and several of the world’s most valuable companies, the Bay Area is the place to go for anyone looking to make it big in the tech industry. That said, San Francisco has a lot to offer beyond technology thanks to a thriving art and music scene, excellent food and a short drive to several of the country’s most beautiful recreational areas.

Key Facts About San Francisco Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 365,500; 13.9% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
