Lead Bidsale’s commercial launch from zero revenue to its first customers. Responsibilities include building and managing the pipeline, closing enterprise deals, converting pilots, shaping SaaS pricing and market strategy, creating the CRM and sales playbook, hiring initial sellers, and presenting revenue performance to investors. • EU Seal of Excellence (May 2026): awarded by the European Commission for our Horizon Europe proposal BRIDGE, recognised as a high-quality proposal under the EIC pre-accelerator (Widening) call.

  • Eurostars-awarded consortium: grant contract signed in September 2025, and the work is underway.

  • DIGIT grant awarded (2026): €496k to deliver our BRIDGE project over 24 months.

  • Further funding in the pipeline: DIGIT Valid application submitted.

  • Bidsale launched in stealth (May 2025): our AI platform for European public real estate auctions.

  • R&D partnerships: we collaborate with FER (University of Zagreb Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing), its TakeLab text-analysis lab, and EDIH (European Digital Innovation Hub).

Role Summary:
VendueTech is built by a team of independent contractors who collaborate as owners. Each of us is building something exciting and shares directly in its success. This role follows the same model: you'll be compensated through equity in the VendueTech Ltd ESOP Trust plus uncapped commission on the revenue you bring in, so your upside grows with the company's. You'll lead our first commercial team and take part directly in long-term value creation.

As our Founding Head of Sales, you will take Bidsale from zero revenue to its first signed customers. Expect to spend about 70% of your time selling hands-on in your first 12 months: owning the pipeline, closing the first deals, and developing the team per market as traction lands. You'll work directly with the CEO on go-to-market strategy, pricing and market priorities across Germany, Spain, Italy and the wider EU, and you'll own the revenue story in front of investors.

The ideal candidate has done this before: you've taken a B2B product from zero to its first customers and built the sales function behind it, and you want to do it again with real ownership.

Key Responsibilities:
Pipeline & Closing:

  • Build and work the pipeline yourself through outbound, events, referrals and your own network across banks, NPL servicers, legal professionals, auction houses and investors.

  • Run full-cycle enterprise sales, from first meeting through pilot to signed contract.

  • Turn pilots into paying customers and early references.

Go-to-Market Strategy

  • Shape pricing and packaging with the CEO as the SaaS model is validated.

  • Refine target markets and the order we enter them, starting with Germany, Spain and Italy

  • Feed what you hear from customers back into the product team.

Building the Sales Function

  • Set up a lightweight CRM, forecast and sales playbook the next hires can run.

  • Hire and lead the first sellers, 1–2 per market.

  • Present pipeline and revenue in board and investor conversations.

What we are looking for:

  • 8+ years in B2B sales, including closing enterprise or institutional deals yourself

  • Experience selling into banks or NPL servicers, real estate, legal professionals (notaries, bailiffs, courts), the public sector, or another regulated buyer

  • Start up stage is essential

  • A track record of building from zero as an early or founding seller, a first hire into a new market, or a founder

  • Comfortable with long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and pilot-to-contract motions

  • Fluent English plus the business language of at least one target market (German, Spanish or another EU language)

  • Nice to have: an existing network in distressed assets, NPLs, auctions or real estate investment; PropTech, LegalTech or FinTech SaaS experience; experience hiring and leading a small sales team.

Why Join Us?

  • Equity-driven: Participate in the VendueTech Ltd ESOP Trust and become a direct owner in our company's future success, with additional equity as we hit agreed traction milestones.

  • Uncapped commission: Earn on every deal you close, including renewals, plus a bonus for every paid pilot you sign. A monthly fee starts once our next funding round closes.

  • High Impact: Build the sales function and team your way, in a market no one has digitised yet.

  • Significant Growth Potential: Join as a founding leader and work directly with the CEO on the company's commercial direction.

  • Flexibility: Work remotely from anywhere in Europe and set your own schedule, with travel to customers as needed.
