About the Company

Valerie Health is the AI front office for independent provider groups. We are reimagining how independent practices operate by using AI to modernize patient/provider communication, enhance care, and drive industry-changing operational efficiencies.

  • Team: We are led by Pete Shalek (2x health tech exits, including a $600M acquisition by Optum) and Nitin Joshi (scaled Uber Eats + Health, Stripe Connect, and Bridge, acquired by Stripe for $1.1B). Beyond our founders, our team brings DNA from category leaders (Uber, Stripe, Meta), high-growth unicorns, and top consulting firms.

  • Trajectory: We partner with leading independent provider groups across the U.S., automating hundreds of thousands of tasks each month. Scaling at 7x year-over-year with 300% NRR as customers consistently expand usage.

  • Funding: We have raised $39M (Series A) from world-class investors including Redpoint Ventures, General Catalyst, Primary Ventures, and BoxGroup.

About the Role

Valerie is in a hypergrowth phase, and we are building the marketing function from the ground up. You will be one of the first hires, working with high autonomy and responsibility. When people hear what Valerie does and use our products, they love it. The challenge isn't persuasion, it's reach. This role exists to solve that.

We need a Senior Growth Marketer to own lead generation and pipeline growth. You will generate qualified leads through every channel at your disposal — SEO/GEO, the website, email and LinkedIn campaigns, webinars, conferences, advertising, and more — and turn those into a repeatable engine that feeds our sales team.

This is not a role where you inherit a playbook. You will figure out what works, double down on it, and move fast. Some channels are already producing: conferences, webinars, and LinkedIn are converting well. Others need to be built from scratch. You will work closely with the Head of Marketing, our sales team, and external agencies.

What matters most for this role is how you think and work. You are analytically rigorous: you structure problems, use data to make decisions, and build systems that scale. You are relentlessly resourceful: when something doesn't work, you don't flag it, you fix it. You are creative about solving growth problems, and you move fast enough that learning happens through doing, not planning. Essentially, you get sh*t done. Prior marketing titles matter less than whether you can look at a challenge, figure out how to crack it, and execute.

What You'll Do
  • Own Lead Generation. Drive qualified leads across all channels — SEO/GEO, website, email, LinkedIn, webinars, conferences, and paid advertising — and continuously optimize conversion at every stage of the funnel.

  • Campaigns. Run email and LinkedIn campaigns that drive meetings and pipeline. Design the sequences, write the copy, measure the results.

  • Webinars. Plan and execute webinars as a lead generation channel, from topic selection to promotion to post-event follow-up.

  • Conferences. Manage conference strategy alongside the Field Marketing Manager, with responsibility for pre-event outreach and ROI analysis.

  • Paid Advertising. Work with our external partners or manage directly on paid campaigns, A/B message testing, and performance optimization.

  • Reporting. Build the dashboards that let us understand what's generating pipeline and what's not.

  • GTM Systems. Help build the workflows and AI-powered automations that let a small team operate at the pace of a much larger one.

About You

You might come from growth marketing, demand gen, revenue marketing, or a generalist role at a high-growth startup. You might have started in sales, consulting, or ops and moved into marketing because you're drawn to the problem-solving side of driving growth. Your background matters less than how you think and work.

What we're looking for
  • 3–5+ years of experience in a fast-paced B2B environment. Marketing, growth, sales, operations, or a generalist role at a startup.

  • A problem-solver who uses data. You break down complex problems, figure out how to crack them, and measure whether it worked.

  • Excellent written communication. You can write outreach copy, campaign messaging, and landing page content that converts.

  • Intellectual curiosity about AI and technology. You should be excited about learning our platform and talking about it credibly.

  • You move fast, ship work, and care about outcomes over process.

Bonus if you have experience with SEO/GEO, HubSpot, or healthcare/enterprise B2B. But what matters most is that you are sharp, high-energy, and relentless about generating results.

Compensation & Benefits
  • $110,000–$180,000 base salary plus meaningful equity in an AI-native, high-growth startup

  • Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO

  • Work directly with senior leadership and some of the most innovative healthcare groups in the country

  • San Francisco: Daily lunch provided in the office

What you need to know about the San Francisco Tech Scene

That said, San Francisco has a lot to offer beyond technology thanks to a thriving art and music scene, excellent food and a short drive to several of the country’s most beautiful recreational areas.
