Our Mission: Build Chips, Faster.

At ChipStack, we are building AI-powered chip design engineers. The process of creating complex silicon is slow, expensive, and bottlenecked by manual engineering effort. We are on a mission to change that, accelerating development by orders of magnitude for the world's most innovative chip companies.

Our team is small, deeply technical, and moves with urgency—bringing together experience from NVIDIA, Qualcomm, Google, Meta, and the Allen Institute for AI. We are backed by Khosla Ventures, Cerberus, and Clear Ventures and are already deployed with over ten customers, from Fortune 100 leaders to bleeding-edge AI silicon startups.

This is your opportunity to build the platform that will define the future of hardware.

The Opportunity

As our first product hire, you will be the center of gravity for our product. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will have the autonomy and impact of a founder. You will be the voice of the customer in every room, the architect of our roadmap, and the driving force behind what we build and why it matters.

If you are obsessed with building 0→1 products for technical users and want to solve one of the hardest and most valuable problems in technology, this role is for you.

What You'll Accomplish

  • Modernize chip development: Chip design is one of the most complex engineering feats out there. You will help drive modernization and efficiency into it. Something you will tell your kids and grandkids.

  • Architect the Roadmap: Own the product roadmap from concept to launch, aligning the entire company around a single, ambitious vision.

  • Deep Customer Involvement: Embed yourself with the world’s leading chip design and verification teams to uncover their deepest pain points and unarticulated needs.

  • Drive Execution: Translate complex customer needs into clear, actionable product specs, driving a rapid cycle of iteration and delivery with our world-class engineering team.

  • Define the Business: Shape our core product strategy, from pricing and packaging to the go-to-market motions that will win our first 100 customers.

This Role Is For You If…

  • You've built for builders. You have a proven track record of shipping technically complex products for sophisticated users (experience in AI/ML, infrastructure, developer tools, or EDA is a major plus).

  • You thrive in the deep end. You have navigated the ambiguity of 0→1 product development, ideally as a founder or an early employee in a high-growth startup. You aren't afraid to dive into logs, APIs, or customer setups to solve problems.

  • You are a master translator. You excel at communicating with and aligning diverse audiences—translating customer empathy into engineering clarity and complex technology into business value.

  • You have an owner's mentality. You possess a strong bias for action, operate with a sense of urgency, and are motivated by delivering tangible outcomes, not just following a process.

  • You are driven by the mission. You are genuinely energized by technical depth and the opportunity to apply AI to reshape a foundational industry.

The future of silicon will be designed with AI. At ChipStack, we're building that future.

Come build it with us.
