THE OPPORTUNITY

Hedge is looking for a founding SDR who wants real ownership, unusually high upside, and a direct path into closing roles. You will turn a large market of independent insurance agencies into qualified conversations and measurable bound premium.

COMPENSATION AND UPSIDE

Target OTE is $200K at an $80K base. Base salary is $60K-$100K, creating a target cash range of $180K-$220K across the base range. You will earn $50 for each held qualified meeting, with annual meeting pay capped at $15K, plus a $105K target revenue component and uncapped accelerators. Equity is 0.10% at hire, with up to an additional 0.05% performance grant. The annual target is $2.5M in sourced bound premium.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN
  • Run disciplined, high-volume outreach across phone, email, and social channels

  • Research and prioritize agencies whose books fit Hedge's markets

  • Qualify for fit, urgency, decision process, and premium opportunity

  • Book meetings that advance into real submission and revenue opportunities

  • Maintain clean CRM data and build a repeatable outbound operating system

  • Work tightly with AEs, brokers, and marketing to improve conversion

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
  • First 30 days: learn the product, agency workflow, market vocabulary, and ideal customer profile

  • By day 60: own a consistent daily outbound cadence and produce qualified meetings

  • By day 90: show repeatable meeting-to-opportunity conversion and clean pipeline discipline

  • In 12 months: source $2.5M in bound premium and create a proven path toward an AE seat

WHO THRIVES HERE

You are competitive, coachable, organized, and comfortable hearing no. You write clearly, speak with energy, use data without hiding behind it, and want your pay tied to business results. Insurance experience helps but is not required.

WHY HEDGE

Hedge is building the operating system for commercial insurance distribution. You will work directly with the founders, own a consequential part of the company, and help define how the function works as we scale. We offer health benefits and meaningful equity.
