Your mission

Join Vocca as our Founding GTM Lead to build, lead, and scale our US revenue engine from the ground up.

This is a rare 0→1 leadership role. You'll start hands-on — personally closing deals alongside our founding AEs to set the standard and learn the market — and grow into a pure leader who hires, coaches, and runs a world-class US sales organization. You'll own the number, the team, the playbook, and the strategy.

Our ambition is not modest: we're building a sales org capable of selling tens, then hundreds, of millions in revenue. We're looking for someone who sees that as the floor, not the ceiling.

What you will sell

An AI voice agent that answers every patient call instantly, schedules and reschedules appointments, triages urgency, and reduces missed calls.

A production-ready product already used daily by thousands of providers.

A solution that delivers clear outcomes for healthcare operators: higher appointment capture, lower call abandonment, less front-desk overload, and a better patient experience.

What success looks like

First 30–60 days

  • Become fluent in our product, ICP, positioning, and the US buying process for healthcare groups (operations, clinical leadership, IT, finance, procurement).

  • Get hands-on immediately: run discovery, demos, and close early deals yourself alongside our founding AEs.

  • Diagnose what's working and what isn't in our current motion, and start shaping the US sales playbook.

  • Coordinate with Ops to onboard early US customers cleanly: kickoff, setup, training, go-live.

By 90 days

  • Personally driving pipeline and closing, while turning your wins into a repeatable, documented process.

  • Establish the fundamentals of a sales org: metrics, forecasting, pipeline reviews, CRM hygiene, and a clear definition of a qualified opportunity.

  • Define the hiring plan and start building the team — sourcing, interviewing, and making the first hires.

  • Feed field insights (objections, workflows, integration needs) back to Product and leadership.

By 6–12 months

  • Transition from player-coach to leader: hire, ramp, and coach a team of AEs and SDRs.

  • Own the US sales number end-to-end — pipeline generation, conversion, forecasting, and quota attainment.

  • Codify the US sales playbook: ICP, MEDDICC-style process, pricing/packaging, ROI story, procurement and security navigation.

  • Build the systems for a scaling org: comp plans, territory design, enablement, and a repeatable hiring and onboarding engine.

  • Lead complex, multi-stakeholder deals for healthcare groups (multi-site, multi-specialty, security and integration reviews) — and set the team up to run them without you.

Who we are looking for

You are a great fit if you:

  • Have 5+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience with strong full-cycle closing, plus some experience leading, mentoring, or building a team (leadership experience is a strong plus — not a hard requirement if the ambition and track record are there).

  • Are a natural player-coach: you still love to close, and you're energized by building the team and system around you.

  • Can build 0→1: process, playbook, hiring, forecasting, and culture — with very high autonomy and comfort in ambiguity.

  • Have extreme ambition — you want to build a sales organization that sells tens to hundreds of millions, and you see the sky as the limit.

  • Bring extreme ownership, humility, and the drive to build something meaningful.

  • Love being close to customers and turning feedback into execution.

It is a strong plus if you:

  • Have sold into and built teams selling to healthcare provider organizations (multi-site groups, MSOs, DSOs, health systems) or adjacent health tech.

  • Have hired, scaled, or led a US sales team before.

  • Have navigated security/compliance and integration stakeholders in complex deals.

  • Have used tools like Attio, Notion, Slack, Apollo (or equivalent).

  • Have an existing network in US healthcare operations.

Why join this role
  • A true 0→1 US GTM leadership role — you build the team, the playbook, and the org from scratch.

  • A product already in production with strong customer love, in a fast-growing market (healthcare automation + voice AI).

  • Direct, daily exposure to the founders and leadership, with fast iteration loops.

  • The chance to define how we sell in the US and grow into a senior commercial leader as we scale.

  • Competitive compensation with meaningful upside (founding-team equity).

Compensation and Benefits
  • Compensation: competitive package commensurate with experience — $300,000–$400,000 OTE. For an exceptional profile, we have flexibility. We're transparent about comp early in the process — just ask.

  • Founding-team equity.

  • Comprehensive health coverage: medical, dental, and vision insurance.

  • Employer-sponsored plans: Vocca contributes to the base plan, with partial support for dependents.

  • Retirement savings: access to a 401(k) plan.

  • Flexible time off: unlimited PTO, including vacation, holidays, and sick days.

  • Professional expenses: work-related expenses reimbursed in line with Vocca's company policy.

  • Location: New York office, city center.

Hiring Process
  • Initial screen (30 min) — call to assess background, motivation, and fit.

  • CEO interview (45 min) — strategic conversation with Eliott (CEO & Co-founder) on your track record, founder mentality, how you think about ICP and go-to-market, and how you'd build the team.

  • Strategy case + role play (60–90 min) — present a 90-day plan and a view on how you'd build and scale the US sales org, then run a live cold call or demo simulation.

  • Meet the team.

  • As a final step, we may invite you to a short work trial with the team, so both sides get a concrete feel for working together.

  • Reference checks — two professional references focused on leadership, autonomy, execution, and impact.

  • Offer.

We aim to keep the process within 30 days. You’ll receive continuous feedback throughout.

Why should you join Vocca?
  • An entrepreneurial adventure, with a supportive, high-energy, execution-focused team

  • A product already live, with delighted customers in a fast-growing market (healthcare automation, voice AI)

  • A true scaling phase, with everything still to build

  • Real responsibilities from day one

We hire people, not roles.

If you're excited about our opportunities but don't check every box, we'd love to hear from you. Everyone, no matter how underrepresented, should feel free to apply as it can only bring learnings or success. If you identify yourself as a woman: Did you know that research shows women often apply only when meeting 100% of requirements?

We'll be thrilled to receive your application!
