Build Netic’s sales operations function from scratch, including territory and segmentation models, rules of engagement, sales metrics, dashboards, forecasting cadence, funnel analysis, quotas, capacity planning, and commission inputs. Partner with sales leadership, founders, and Finance while managing Salesforce operations and automating recurring processes. Establish scalable systems, data standards, and operating processes for a growing B2B sales organization.
The summary above was generated by AI

Netic is the AI revenue engine for essential services who are the backbone of the American economy. With $43M in funding from Founders Fund, Greylock, Hanabi, and Dylan Field who led our Series B, we helped our customers book hundreds of thousands of jobs across services industries in North America. There are now companies operating entirely AI-first on Netic.

You’ll join our team with relentless builders from Scale, Databricks, HRT, Meta, MIT, Stanford, and Harvard in bringing frontier AI to the physical economy, where the problems are hard, the data is complex, and the impact is immediate and tangible.

The role

You'll be Netic's first Sales Operations hire. There's no territory model, reporting stack or rulebook to inherit: you'll design how our sales team is organized, measured and run, and set the foundation the rest of the Sales Strategy & Operations team builds on. You'll work directly with sales leadership and our founders, and the systems you build in your first year are the ones we'll scale on.

The job is part operator, part analyst. One week you're carving territories from a capacity model; the next you're tracing why pipeline coverage dropped in one segment and fixing the process behind it.

What you'll do
  • Build the operating model from scratch: size the market by trade, geography and location count, model rep capacity and ramp, and design territories and segments that hold up as we scale.

  • Write and enforce the Rules of Engagement: account ownership, lead routing, channel and partner conflicts, holdover and reassignment. Resolve disputes from the data, make the call, and turn each decision into precedent.

  • Own the sales metrics layer. Define how we measure pipeline, conversion, velocity and attainment, and build the dashboards reps, managers and leadership run the business on.

  • Run the operating cadence: weekly forecast, pipeline reviews and QBRs. Track forecast accuracy and pipeline coverage, and flag risk before it shows up in the number.

  • Go deep on the funnel. Find where deals stall or leak by segment, source and rep, and turn the analysis into process changes leaders act on.

  • Partner with Finance on quotas, capacity plans and commission inputs, so plans rest on data and crediting matches the RoE.

  • Handle the day-to-day (approvals, account and opportunity changes, Salesforce questions) and automate what repeats with our Sales Systems engineer.

What success looks like in year one
  • A territory and segmentation model the sales team trusts, with a dispute process that rarely needs escalation.

  • One source of truth for pipeline and attainment, used in every forecast call and QBR.

  • A forecast leadership can plan against, with accuracy tracked every quarter.

  • A documented sales ops function with clear ownership and a roadmap for what comes next.

What you bring
  • 4+ years in sales operations, revenue operations, sales strategy or a similar analytical role (consulting, banking, BizOps) at a high-growth B2B company.

  • Strong SQL and advanced Excel or Google Sheets. You can build a capacity or territory model from raw data without a template. Experience with a BI tool such as Looker, Tableau or Hex.

  • Hands-on experience designing territories, setting rules of engagement and running a forecast cadence for a sales team of 25+ reps.

  • Salesforce admin-level fluency: reports, dashboards, assignment rules, permissions and the data model underneath.

  • A builder's track record. You've stood up a process, model or function from zero, not only maintained one.

  • The judgment to make fair calls on disputes, and the written clarity to explain them to reps and executives.

Nice to have
  • Experience as an early or first operations hire at a startup.

  • Experience with Clari, Gong, LeanData, Chili Piper or similar GTM tools.

  • Exposure to vertical SaaS or home services, or selling to owner-operated businesses.
