At Navi, engineers don’t just write code — they shape the future of aviation. Our AI co-pilot is built on real flight data, cockpit audio, and complex human performance models. We’re looking for engineers who thrive at the edge of hard problems: systems that must be fast, reliable, and trusted by pilots, airlines, and the U.S. Air Force.
ResponsibilitiesCore Systems: Build and scale the backend and data pipelines that power Navi’s AI co-pilot.
Product Development: Work closely with pilots and instructors to design tools that actually work in the cockpit and classroom.
Data & AI: Integrate flight dynamics, telemetry, and audio into intelligent training and debrief systems.
Architecture: Help decide the core technologies and frameworks that will scale Navi from startup to aviation standard.
Deployment: Ship code that runs everywhere from university flight schools to military squadrons.
Strong background in software engineering (backend, distributed systems, or full-stack).
Able to move fast, own projects end-to-end, and deliver in ambiguous environments.
Experience with modern data pipelines, real-time systems, or AI/ML integration a plus.
Comfortable writing clean, production-grade code that others can build on.
Mission-driven: excited to build tech that impacts aviation safety and defense.
Pilots trust their lives to the systems in front of them. The AI co-pilot we’re building must meet that same standard of reliability and clarity. As a founding engineer, your fingerprints will be on the architecture, the product, and the culture of engineering at Navi.
What You’ll GetEarly-stage equity — real ownership in shaping a category-defining company.
Flight training — earn your pilot’s license and build with domain expertise.
Impact — see your work used by pilots, schools, airlines, and the U.S. Air Force.
Growth — step into a role that can scale into technical leadership as we grow.
