Founding Solutions Engineer
About DeepTempo.ai
Role Overview
Key Responsibilities
Company: DeepTempo.ai
Location: Hybrid Bay Area
Department: Product / Go-To-Market
DeepTempo.ai is pioneering the use of purpose built vertical foundation models in cybersecurity. Our intelligent detection layer is based on our LogLM, a purpose built model designed specifically for high-volume logs and network telemetry, delivering unusually high accuracy and adaptability across network, cloud, and application environments.
We value technical excellence, intellectual honesty, and mission alignment. Our culture is caring and candid. We are direct with one another in service of building something enduring and important. We invest in each other’s growth, assume positive intent, and operate with a shared sense of responsibility.
We are looking for a Founding Solutions Engineer to work directly with customers and shape how DeepTempo.ai is adopted in the real world. This is a highly technical, customer-facing role where you will prototype solutions, influence product direction, and help turn early customer conversations into deployed use cases.
You won’t just support the product—you’ll help define it.
- Partner with early customers to understand their workflows, pain points, and technical environments
- Design and build custom demos, prototypes, and proof-of-concepts
- Translate customer needs into product requirements and collaborate closely with engineering
- Lead technical discovery calls and guide customers through solution design
- Integrate DeepTempo.ai into customer systems using APIs, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure
- Create reusable solution patterns and technical assets for future customers
- Support early sales efforts by demonstrating real-world value in a hands-on way
- Act as the voice of the customer internally
Required Experience
- 5+ years in cloud engineering, enterprise SaaS architecture, cyber operations, DevSecOps, site reliability, or comparable technical delivery roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience integrating security, observability, or analytics platforms at scale.
- Strong understanding and working knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals: detection engineering, logs, telemetry pipelines, threat models, and incident response workflows.
- Familiarity and ability to communicate complex AI/ML concepts to operational stakeholders
- Scripting or programming proficiency (Python, Go, Bash, etc.).
- Comfort operating in customer-facing technical roles with executive and engineering stakeholders.
- Start-up experience.
Preferred
- Experience working directly with SOC teams or MSSPs.
- Familiarity with ML/AI-driven products.
- Background in high-volume data systems or distributed telemetry environments.
- Experience and comfort working both domestically and internationally.
- Thrive in teams where titles are loose and ownership is everything — comfortable jumping between strategic advisor, technical architect, and customer champion depending on what the moment demands.
- Strong affinity for using AI to scale operations and solutions.
What We Value
- Intellectual rigor paired with practical judgment.
- Innovative mindset.
- Self starter and willingness to address whatever is needed to advance the company, customer and partner.
- Candid communication delivered with respect.
- Deep ownership and accountability.
- A builder’s mindset — someone who wants to help shape not only deployments, but the company itself.
Compensation
DeepTempo offers competitive base salary and meaningful equity participation. We believe early team members should share materially in the long-term value they help create. Compensation is structured to reward impact, ownership, and sustained contribution.
In addition, we offer health benefits, flexible working arrangements, and the opportunity to build foundational technology in one of the most important domains of the coming decade.
