About Knowtex

Knowtex is building the clinical intelligence platform for clinicians, transforming the way medicine is practiced, and how patient care is completed. Founded by Stanford AI scientists with deep federal, clinical, and technical experience, we’re experiencing explosive growth across both commercial health systems and government healthcare. Our ambient documentation platform scales to thousands of clinicians across hundreds of specialties, and we’re serving clinicians across the country. We’re at an inflection point where cutting-edge AI meets real clinical impact—giving clinicians hours back each day to focus on what matters most: their patients.

Position Overview

Knowtex is hiring a founding Technical Product Manager to own critical product areas at the intersection of AI, clinical workflows, and healthcare infrastructure. These roles require strong technical depth, the ability to work directly with clinicians and healthcare administrators to understand complex workflows, and the skill to translate those insights into clear engineering requirements and product strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define product roadmap, prioritize features, and drive execution for your product area

  • Conduct discovery with clinicians, healthcare administrators, and IT leaders to deeply understand clinical workflows and pain points

  • Translate complex clinical and operational requirements into clear engineering specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria

  • Partner closely with engineering, AI/ML, and design teams to ship high-quality products on tight timelines

  • Own product metrics, conduct data analysis, and use quantitative and qualitative signals to drive decisions

  • Manage cross-functional stakeholders including clinical operations, compliance, sales, and customer success

  • Evaluate build vs. buy vs. partner decisions for integrations and capabilities

  • Communicate product vision and progress to leadership, customers, and external partners

Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of product management experience with a strong technical foundation

  • Ability to read and reason about code, APIs, data models, and system architecture

  • Experience working directly with clinicians, healthcare administrators, or clinical operations teams

  • Demonstrated ability to distill ambiguous, complex stakeholder needs into actionable engineering requirements

  • Strong analytical skills—comfortable with SQL, product analytics tools, and data-driven decision making

  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Experience working in fast-paced startup environments with high ownership and autonomy

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of clinical workflow design across medical specialties

Clinical Intelligence:

  • Experience with clinical decision support, clinical trial matching, or evidence-based guidelines (NCCN, ASCO)

  • Background in health informatics, biomedical data, or life sciences technology

  • Experience building AI/ML-powered products, chatbots, or knowledge retrieval systems

  • Familiarity with regulatory considerations for clinical AI (FDA SaMD, clinical validation)

Technical Environment
  • AWS (GovCloud for federal deployments)

  • Python, Node.js / TypeScript backend services

  • React frontend (internal tools and dashboards)

  • Healthcare data formats (FHIR, HL7, JSON, CSV)

  • AI/ML pipelines, LLM-based products, and NLP systems

  • Event-driven and asynchronous processing architectures
