WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Senior finance operator embedded in a multi-entity consumer goods business navigating a significant commercial expansion. Works alongside the OneTwenty Fi CFO lead, owns FP&A execution, and serves as a strategic thought partner to the business.

THE ENGAGEMENT

OneTwenty Fi is a fractional CFO advisory firm. We are adding a senior finance operator to an active client engagement in the consumer products space: a specialty branded goods company with meaningful national retail distribution that is preparing to scale significantly.

This is not a reporting or bookkeeping role. You will work directly alongside the OneTwenty Fi on this engagement. You own FP&A execution, bring consumer industry depth, and provide a point of view on decisions that require category experience. The client leadership team is commercially sharp, moves fast, and has high expectations for the quality and clarity of financial analysis.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

•  FP&A across three entities. Rolling forecasts, working capital models, and cash flow visibility across a US operating entity and two international entities. Coordinate directly with a Cyprus-based accounting team on AR, AP, and intercompany flows. The entities use different accounting systems, so consolidation is manual.

•  Expansion and scenario modeling. Model growth scenarios tied to major retail programs, covering inventory builds, funding gaps, and the working capital cycle. Stress-test assumptions and translate the output into plans the business can act on.

•  Financing strategy and lender support. Help optimize the financing stack across trade finance, early payment programs, and revolving credit. Prepare financial materials and narratives for lender conversations and credit applications.

•  Strategic financial input. Bring a point of view on inventory strategy, vendor payment terms, channel economics, and how the financials of this type of business behave at scale. Be the domain expert when operational and financial questions get specific.

•  Financial infrastructure. Build out reporting cadence, KPI structure, and financial processes to support a business scaling across multiple geographies and retail channels.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

•  Consumer products FP&A experience. You have done meaningful financial planning and analysis inside a consumer goods or closely adjacent business. You understand inventory cycles, seasonal cash flow, retail payment terms, and vendor dynamics. You do not need to be taught how this type of business works.

•  Multi-entity and international experience. Comfortable working across entities with different systems and requirements. Experience coordinating with an overseas accounting team is a strong advantage.

•  Working capital and cash flow modeling. You have built models where inventory funding, payment terms, and retailer collection cycles drive the financial picture. You know how to model a funding gap and present it clearly to an owner and a lender.

•  Strategic finance orientation. You use analysis to drive decisions, not just report on them. Direct, commercially fluent, and able to communicate clearly with founders and operators.

•  Fractional or consulting background preferred. You integrate quickly into new client environments, build trust fast, and deliver high-quality work without a long ramp-up.

•  Availability. Approximately 15 hours per month at steady state, with the ability to surge during active planning phases. Engagement scope may grow as the business scales.

ENGAGEMENT STRUCTURE

•  Part-time retainer through OneTwenty Fi. You work as part of our team on this engagement with opportunities to work on other engagements in the future.

•  Fully remote
