Here at Hometap, we’re collaborative, passionate, and always ready to roll up our sleeves to create solutions that help people get more out of homeownership — and out of life. Our first product, a home equity investment, gives homeowners the opportunity to quickly access the equity they’ve built in their home to pay for what’s most important to them, from handling debt to finally making much-needed renovations, without taking on debt.

We work hard, and have some fun along the way, too. You don’t have to take our word for it: The Boston Globe and Forbes have recognized us as a great place to work, and we’ve been honored for our commitment to innovation in the fintech space by Inc., HousingWire, and more!

In case you need any more convincing, we also provide competitive compensation, healthcare coverage, generous PTO, a meaningful equity package, and a strong culture with plenty of opportunities for team-building and camaraderie.

Interested in joining us on our mission to make homeownership less stressful and more accessible? We’d love to talk.
Who You Are

  • Resize and reformat graphics for multiple platforms, including web, social media, email, and print
  • Ensure all design work is optimized for digital and print production processes
  • Quickly turn feedback into new design iterations
  • Organize and maintain design files for easy accessibility and version control
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand project requirements and execute efficiently
  • Follow brand standards and design best practices while working within existing templates or creating new ones when necessary
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and adapting to shifting priorities
  • Ensure final deliverables are production-ready and meet technical specifications
What You Bring
  • 3+ years of experience as a production designer or in a similar role
  • Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong understanding of layout, typography, and design principles
  • Experience working within established brand guidelines and maintaining consistency
  • Detail-oriented mindset with excellent organizational and file management skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote setting

This is a freelance, remote position with project-based work. If you’re a production designer who enjoys refining and perfecting assets to create a polished, cohesive brand presence, we’d love to hear from you!
This position is expected to work ~30 hrs/week. The pay rate for this role is $100/hour.
