We combine our creative storytelling expertise with large-scale production resources, uniquely positioning us to create, market, and distribute gaming content for our diverse client portfolio of top gaming development companies and major brands.
We are looking for a talented Freelance Video Editor to join our innovative Game Capture team at Dark Burn Creative, a division of Trailer Park Group. We are looking for a self-starter who has a passion for the gaming industry, proven skills in content production and be able to work in a fast paced, ever-changing creative environment.
NOTE: THIS FREELANCE ROLE REQUIRES FULL-TIME HOURS, ON-SITE EMPLOYMENT AT OUR WOODLAND HILLS, CALIFORNIA LOCATION.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Works with the producers and creatives to assist on assets in which these employees need additional support.
- Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
- Receives general instructions on day-to-day work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments.
- Understands brand pillars and game features.
- Reviews brand documentation and asset briefs to gain a better understanding of the game.
- Uses active listening to aid in understanding asset requirements.
- Asks questions internally within their department to clarify asset creative vision and objective.
ABOUT YOU:
- At least 3 years of experience in trailer editing or assistant editorial.
- At least 4 years of experience in editorial editing software applications, specifically Premiere Pro.
- Eager to learn and grow within the company.
- Love of video games.
2-month freelance assignment (Woodland Hills,Ca)

COMPENSATION:
Please note that the below range is payable via day rate (not hourly). Also note that all freelance work is paid via W2 payroll at Trailer Park Group.
