Main Purpose of the Role
Welocalize is looking for an English into French Canadian freelance proofreader with experience in the field of Life Sciences for an ongoing proofreading project for multiple leading pharmaceutical providers. The project main focus will be on investigator-facing, patient-facing and pharmacy related documents.
This is an on-going freelance and remote position with an expected weekly words volume of 2K to 5k. No minimum volume capacity is required as we are happy to collaborate together depending on your availability.

For this role, we are looking for someone with the following requirements:
- Minimum two years' experience translating and copyediting content in the specified subject matter areas or verticals: Investigator facing, Patient facing and/or Pharmacy material
- Excellent knowledge of English and French-Canadian languages
- Experience using CAT tools
- Translation degree or, if other degree, 2 years of translation experience or, if no degree, 5 years of translation experience
