Build and lead scalable front-end architecture for travel products, including micro-frontends, Backend-for-Frontends, reusable components, and distributed booking experiences. Partner with product and engineering teams, mentor developers, improve performance and accessibility, establish testing and release practices, and champion AI-assisted development. Contribute hands-on expertise across modern web technologies while supporting car rentals and broader ground transportation products.
Front-end Engineer 4 (Manager, IC)
Building the engine behind modern travel experiences isn't just about moving data or building UIs-it's about owning full-feature architecture end-to-end. As a Front End Engineer on our Cars and Ground Transportation team, you'll join a fast-moving, product-driven group of makers, doers, and disruptors scaling our travel platform. In an AI-native world, you leverage modern tooling to own the entire build from customer-facing micro-frontends to complex back-end architectures, orchestrating multi-supplier supply, reconciling inconsistent data into unified shopping experiences, and scaling distributed booking pipelines. You will own everything from pay-now vs. pay-at-desk rate processing and competitive price benchmarking to expanding our platform beyond car rentals into broader ground transport like rail and transfers. In this high-impact IC role, you'll work side-by-side with product managers to shape feature design, challenge generated code through relentless testing, and coach junior engineers, driving transformation at the forefront of emerging technologies.
